I want to say this game is great like the reviews are saying, but after having the crash on me twice with no warning and me am adjusting my settings. It's not worth it on sale, cause of how often I crash.

The game itself is very fun and a healthy way to handle stress levels. It gives me a chance to handle things solo. Though, thanks to this game...I learn i do support builds way too well.

Fantasy Ground is worth every penny. The 40 dollar program gives you a chance to host without pulling out a calculator or having too many tabs open. While the price is daunting and the DLC as well. But the price is worth it tenfold.

The DLC itself is the same prices as the hard copies of the book and you don’t need every DLC on here. The DLC range from Pathfinder to 3.53 or Starfinder. So, you only buy the DLC you need for your campaign if you are a DM. The other important DLC is the Ultimate License which allows you to have Demo players join your campaign. The Ultimate License is 145, but if you buy the standard it becomes 110 dollars.

Pros:
-Once learning how to use the program, it becomes easier to use and understand. While it does not have the light feature. It makes up with easier dice rolls and math work. On top of this, you as the DM have less to work by clicking on buttons and able to have things running smoothly.
- While it’s a hard program to understand. The community helps out to understand the program. You can find help on the forum of the site or attend classes at the Fantasy Grounds College. You only need to ask and someone can help you understand.
- You have the option to buy it a lifetime while roll20 has you pay for a program that is slightly better monthly. Compare to 120 dollars yearly for roll20 and 40 dollars or 145 dollars one time on Fantasy Ground Five years later, you spent 2,000 dollars for roll 20 and save money with Fantasy Ground on the location for your game.

Cons:
-Learning Curve. The learning curve is hard to get at first and appears to be daunting. It requires some coding on the effects of a few things if you wish to use coding. It can be long and hard, but there is support in this community and a place to take classes to understand it.
-Money, the program itself is cheaper then roll20. However, if you want to save time and headache on coding. You can buy it on Dmguild for 30 bucks. It’s pricey for the DLC and the coding package if you choose to get it, but it’s DND/Pathfinder. It’s going to be pricey.
-Without the DLC, you only get basic items similar to the Dnd Beyond website does. However, there are weekly sales with FG and you can get the books one by one or you can learn how to code in the program and do everything by hand.

Rate: 7/10
The program can be daunting to learn and the price can be too. It’s good if you have the time and money to learn it. The other part, if Roll20 stops the things you save may not be there anymore. With Fantasy Grounds, you have something forever.

How can I be positive about a game that had my firewall crash my laptop? How can I be positive about a game when there is a ‘manual’, but no place to download it? How can I be positive about a game where they have options to turn off the music, but won’t or be positive about the game refuse to be in window mode?
My god, it’s like the dev or the publisher has tiny ♥♥♥♥ problems and wanted us to suffer with it. This is a money game for sure. The artwork is cute, but that’s it. If the artist is reading these reviews, you have great skill! I am sorry this game ruin the chance of people seeing it.
Don’t even waste downloading it and get curious on why there are so many appalling reviews.

I am enjoying Nimble Writer. It helps me focus better on the story and gives me a chance to focus on writing alone. It turns off discord alerts, which is a huge plus for me, and it’s a lot easier for anyone who does a lot of notes about their characters or plot.
I love how it’s easier to run and able to understand without looking up on Youtube how to use it. There is few cons base on this. There is no spellcheck yet it tells you how many errors it. That really does not make any sense to me.
On top of this, the export feature is buggy. I tried to export the first chapter of my novel when I went to go open it on a word to check my grammar and spelling, the file will not open for some reason. The last thing word does not work with Office Word from my own testing.
I would buy this, but not at full price. It has good features for someone who wants a program for writing on steam and don’t want to spend a lot of money.,… but the lack of spell checks and the export is the problem.
