One of my favorite coop games in the past decade despite lots of polish issues. Unexpectedly amazing.

Completely untouched niche of roguelikes, really fun and awesome little touches like coop and split screen. I wish his kickstarter attempt had been successful - would have been awesome to see what a bigger version of this could become. Still well worth it as is!

It is seriously a crime that more people haven't played this game. For couch multiplayer, it does not get better than this. I've played hours of the single player campaign, the co-op campaign, and the vs. mode with 2-4 players, and I can assure you they are all a blast. Concerned about the price, maybe? In today's age of indie PC gaming and weekly dollar bundles, $15 may seem a tad salty. Trust me though when I say it is not. This is gourmet, not bundle-bin software.

Although completely unrelated in genre, I can't help but to think back to Goldeneye 64 when I play this game. Towerfall has that same spirit that made me and the random group of neighborhood kids/siblings/relatives who were around keep coming back over and over, for hours on end, laughing histerically - but at the same time, passionately engaged and focused. And with the addition of the superlatives handed at the end of each round, I think I can safely say that this is Matt Thorson's love letter to that game, and that era of gaming. A more simple time, where gaming was about friends and togetherness, enjoying a good time in the presence of one another. Matt, thank you for this.

Super addictive if you are into weird "boring" driving simulation games like I am. I used to love Tokyo Bus Guide for Dreamcast back in the day, and this is like the next level of badass.

Good freaking game...not sure it's worth the full $20 though. Maybe wait for a steam sale?
