I didn't want to leave a negative review but Gaijin leaves me no choice...
I've played War Thunder since late 2014. I was 9 years old. Since my childhood, i've always been fascinated by the military and military technologies. War Thunder was perfect. It had everything i had hoped for. (exept for more modern vehicles, at that time, those just weren't in the game) I've spen insane amoutns of time on the game. I have many more hours off steam.
It was incredible fun. My parents always scolded me for spending so much time on my pc. The gameplay was simpler of course. It wasn't full of so many cool mechanics and vehicles, but it was way more than enough to satisfy my fascination. Of course, since i was a child, i didn't put any money into the game. I have almost managed to reach the top ranks in both aircraft and ground vehicles in the USSR tree. BECAUSE THE ECONOMY WAS BEARABLE back then.
About 2018-2020,
i've started to not have as much fun anymore. even though i did already put money into the game and played with premium vehicles and account, the grind just felt too harsh. And it was a slippery slope. THE GRIND WAS STARTING TO FEEL UNBEARABLE. Basically impossible without premium.
And that's where we are today. And the worst thing is, Gaijin want to make the grind EVEN WORSE. I have always had issues with the economy but complaining in forums won't help, they'll just delete your opinion. And man OH MAN DOES THAT HEAT MY NERVES, if someone deletes my opinion like that, i will always somehow get back at them, but it's pretty difficult since i would not like to be banned. Anyway, i'll just write the following in caps to summerise and highlight.

THE ECONOMY IS TERRIBLE AND THE GRIND UNBEARABLE. IT'S MADE IN A WAY THAT PURPOSEFULLY MAKES THE PLAYERS PAY TO EVEN SUSTAIN. IT'S MADE IN A WAY THAT SQUEEZES THE WALLETS OF THE PLAYERS TILL THEY'RE BONE DRY AND FILLS POCKETS OF THE DEVS TO BUY LAMBOS. IT NEEDS TO BE COMPLETELY REMADE AND REVISED FROM THE GROUND UP

And that's not it, im not even going to mention the aboslutely TONE-DEAF response from Gaijin in the recent letter that GASLIGHTS the playerbase. They think we are totally stupid, and they will not get away with this.

If you want this game to continue Gaijin, GET. TO. WORK. NOW.
