If you love your racing simulator games i strongly advise you consider this game heres why...

The Game is beautiful Gameplay is plentiful(if you enjoy racing sims) i say you need a wheel not a difficult game unless you want to be the best.


If you have played the previous F1 games most of the previous features are there such as Solo Campaign, Quick Races, Ranked and Unranked online races as well as the time trials for all you leaderboard junkies out there. however codemasters brought a whole new feature called myteam. This is very similar to my career however you are able to manage your own whole team such as what to develop, facilities and who your second driver is! I am enjoying this aspect of the game alot if you are someone who loves or even just likes to manage simple aspect of your career games this is the gamemode for you.

The driving feels incredible i dont know if this is because i skipped F1 2019 but the driving in this game feels incredible (I use the Logitech G29) the force feedback although relatively simple feels outstanding. Now im not the best or most avid sim racer so take my opinions as you will but the driving and the way your car feels hurtling around the track is a whole ass experience that i personally enjoy.


This game isn't hard to learn however if you wish to become one of the best you will have to do some grinding learning your car and learning the tracks to the fullest however this is NOT necessary to even enjoy this game as there is lots of ways to enjoy this game casually in both solo and multiplayer due to adjustable difficulty levels and driver assists and the unranked multiplayer feature where you are able to test your skills against those who are also looking for a casual online race.


If you are a graphics nerd this game isnt your next Witcher 2 or whatever the best graphics game there is but this game has amazing visuals that help you immerse yourself further into the game and view the track through your drivers eyes wether its the sun glare or the fact that the rain in this game is so pretty to the point you forget your in a 200mph vehicle aquaplaning towards your nearest friendly wall.


full disclosure at the time of writing this review i only have 6 hours and i will update this section once i clock more hours into this game but here are a few nitpick cons that i have or that some of you may have:

Wheel needed. To fully enjoy this game i personally think you need a wheel to properly feel and enjoy the game

NO VR SUPPORT. This doesn't really affect me but i know this is a huge deal breaker for some of you.

MyTeam feels empty. I saw some people complain of this saying that the new gamemode seems very empty for me i personally think its new content that adds to the existing mycareer however i do see the lack of content that it may have.


So to answer the question you may have should you buy the game? I say if you have the money to spare and you have a wheel yes of course but if you dont care about myteam or the multiplayer f12019 if cheaper by a huge margin buy that instead
