If you're looking for something that holds up to the remake of RE2, you will likely be disappointed. It's not near as long, nor does it have as much story to it. If you're looking for something newer that still pays homage to its roots, then this is a game that you should play at least once or twice. Nemesis is scary AF just as he was in the original. Carlos is slightly less cringey which imo takes away from him. He's supposed to be a goofball before he's an action hero :P Jill still be lookin like a snack. Some of the enemies have gone through some massive transformations and are almost unrecognizable but that's okay. You can still recognize the hunter betas. I really like the gamma change. They used to be annoying little ♥♥♥♥♥ that only had a skin change from the alpha and beta versions, but now they stand out in their own category :)
Boss fights are hit or miss. The first 3 really show you how important it is to save ammo and look at your surroundings while the final is meh, much like any RE game. Also, Resistance is cool. I played it on PS4 for about 10-20 hours and it was fun. The nonexistent matchmaking really hurts it though.

A Dead by Daylight clone...to a degree. however, when was the last time you beat Rin Yamaoka down with a holy rattan?
I see myself playing this compulsively til i hate it, just like DBD <3 make sure you get the limited time cosmetics so you can have your "legacy" survivors!

So essentially, this is another version of Pacify...However, it's highly addictive and fun to play with randoms or with your friends. Nightmare mode makes the game very challenging AND it makes the whole game P3 ;) If you're reading this while the game is on sale, GET IT!!! Totally worth the 5 bucks! Hell, i'd probably pay 10 at this point!

So far so good. Really enjoy the concept. Excited to see how the game is once they add more content :D

Awesome game for learning teamwork in a tense environment. The player base is pretty small so you run into a lot of the same people and most of them are decent. Some are butt holes but that's just any game. The game is fast paced and doesn't involve a whole lot of commitment. You can play for 10 minutes or 10 hours and get different results each time. Come play, fool! I need some shark friends!

If you can, wait until Christmas time and you may get this game for free. It's been free at Christmas time for the last two years. However, I wouldn't have any issue paying full price for this game again. Even with as old as it is, I still play this as much as any other game I purchase. It's challenging, you never know exactly what to expect, the servers are still decently populated with people ranging from first time players to expert douche bags, the graphics are good and I can run the game maxed out on my laptop! If you want a good game with a remarkably high replay value, get L4D2. Don't waste your money on the first L4D unless you want achievements, this game comes with the first game's levels ported in. Goodnight America!

Graphics are definitely better than the remake the year it came out. My only issue is my laptop can't handle this game that I purchased in a hurry for nostalgic reasons. Part of me wants to try for a refund but I know that one day I'll have a better machine to blow the ♥♥♥♥ out of zombies on. I'll see you at the top of the leaderboards when I'm not in slow motion :)

very confusing at first but an awesome game nonetheless. A fun shootemup game with plenty of weapons and evironments, not to mention mods and dlc to take up many hrs of your life
