I've played the crap out of Civilization 4 for the past seven years, so I was a little nervous going into the fifth game (I DON'T LIKE CHANGE!!!), but honestly, Civ 5 takes the cake hands-down! Crucial improvements that were lacking in the previous game, extra gameplay options and features, and of course, mods. Lots and lots of mods. If you love strategy or always wanted to rule the world, it's time to take the digital throne. All in all, Civilization 5 is the greatest turn-based strategy game of all time :)

Compared to Battlefield 3, 4, and Bad Company 1 & 2, Battlefield 2 might seem a little old. As someone who's played all of the aforementioned Battlefield games, I can say with confidence that Battlefield 2 is still incredible after all these years. Although it's servers are still alive through mods like Project Reality and Forgotten Hope 2, there's still bot-oriented single player mode to make you feel right at home. If you are a Battlefield fan that would like to see where the series got it's groovy, or even have the SLIGHTEST interest in FPS games, please buy this game!

Metro 2033 is an exhilirating post-apocalyptic FPS set in the ruins of Moscow's subway system. If you love the (overdone) post-apocalypse genre, this is your swan song, but PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND: Metro 2033 is a linear mission-based game. If you're looking for an FPS where you aimlessly wander around a ruinous landscape in search of adventure and survival, please get either Fallout 3/New Vegas or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl. However, if you don't mind playing on a fixed path, then welcome to the Metro. Watch out for giant rats.

Surgeon Simulator 2013 is a game where you must perform surgery using anything within reach of your right hand (or left, for all you lefties out there). While the controls feel weird for the first five minutes and you have no real direction on what to do other than "Perform a ________", it doesn't matter in the long run. You'll get used to the controls, and how you choose to do the operation is entirely up to YOU.

Surgeon Sim gets a A- rating from me, but keep in mind: Real medical PhDs cost thousands of dollars. Surgeon Simulator costs ten (unless its on sale). Do the math.

Do you love Metroid, Legend of Zelda, Castlevania, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, furries, or all of the above? Then this game is perfect for you. From the luscious graphics to the action RPG combat and leveling system, Dust is an amazing experience that you NEED to play. Passing up on this game is like openly admitting that you can take on Chuck Norris one-on-one...you just can't.

Saints Row the Third is, in one word, insane. The series has always been pegged for being a Grand Theft Auto rip off, but really, Saints Row is in a lot of ways better. After all, can you skydive naked out of a jumbo jet or blast zombies in a bear suit with Mega Man's arm cannon in Grand Theft Auto IV? No. Eat your heart out, Niko Bellic!

The Binding of Isaac is a twisted masterpiece that injects the classic Legend of Zelda formula with directional button shooting while adding a splash of both biblical and demonic thematic flair, and above all, this is one of those games that you'll get hopelessly addicted to, but don't try to fight it ;)

Titan Quest is, like the Divinity and Dungeon Siege series, a Diablo-esque RPG, but what sets this out from those other games is the ancient mythology theme (as opposed to the overly used medieval theme) and its crazy awesome story and gameplay. I could go no further as to say that it's an RPG fanatic's dream come true.

In my opinion, the purpose of games is to make whats impossible in real life possible in our digital fantasy escapades, and Burnout Paradise totally does that. If you've ever wanted to compete in street races with your friends, crash into stuff, and or break the speed limit, look no further.

Psychonauts is a really unusual, yet super satisfying platformer. If you have fond memories of playing some of Rare's Nintendo 64 platformers (Donkey Kong 64, Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie, and or Conker's Bad Fur Day), you will NOT be disappointed here!
