Out of all the CS games I have played, hands down, this is (currently) the best. It's just that Source games like this bring me nostalgia of the good old CS:GO in the 2015 era before Panorama, skin gambling mania, overpriced battlepass operations, anti-community CS2, and all.

When it was just about being a simple FPS videogame, everyone could get into and understand easily, but to master it, it took dedication and skill. When pros were real pros and made remarkable moments in tournaments. When the CS series was trying to be simple yet realistic, without cartoony models and overexaggerated maps. When it was about the community, its servers, and mods.

Community mods are the reason why this game (and CS 1.6) is still alive and thriving today. There simply is no replacement for the many mods this game's community offers, e.g., surf, kz, zombie, deathmatch, gun game, and so on... No other FPS game came close to replicating the success of community-made content like the CS:S (or CS series overall)

CS:GO was and still is a big part of my life, and I can't imagine my life without the moments I've experienced in it over the years and a few thousand hours. I'm happy that CS: Source is still here to help me remember how it feels to play a real CS game and not the skin-focused mess that CS2 is currently.

Absolute cinema.

No cons, just pure fun.

It's a simple parkour game with good-looking graphics of a "Frutiger Aero" style. The design is beautiful, rich in photo-realistic details, and with a touch of the 2010 style. It's fun, and I'm looking forward to seeing the full release.

But before that, I would like to point out some cons:

• Optimization - for parkour style game, I expect higher FPS since lower FPS makes the game unplayable (tip: play on the Fullscreen setting for higher FPS, worked for me)
  
• Better introduction of jump pads - I had spent running around for 15 minutes before I figured out I needed to jump on a button key pointing forward with a tooltip "LSHIFT to run"
  
• Movement physics - coming from Source games (mainly Counter-Strike: Source), I missed the friction of falling onto surfaces, or found the mid-air movement weird

Overall, I find this game relaxing and fun. Some optimization is needed, and it will be a great game for lovers of the Frutiger Aero style.

This game excels in PvE mechanics, sound designs, and the overall looks of this game. It looks beautiful, no doubt about it. It runs fairly fast without any visible problems. It is a very good co-op game to play with friends. However, it has its cons and not a few...

- No in-game tutorial : Haven't I played this game in pre-alpha, I wouldn't known how to play it. Some of its mechanics or goals are not apparent for novices enough in my opinion, which confuses players
- PvP : It ruins the fun of exploring dungeons and having nice, calm gameplay. Although sometimes you encounter players who are avoiding combat, tryhards with better gear and much more skill ruin the curiosity and fun of exploring more rooms
- Some OP enemies : Mainly archers. I don't know if I am bad at this game, but I haven't found any way to effectively block their attacks or easily kill them. They ruined so many of my runs, just sad (and stupid)
- User experience (UX) : Although the UI of this game looks good, it doesn't feel good. Equipment doesn't show its "gear score", no sorting options in stash or inventory, confusing trader's tabs functionalities and their purposes, no implementation of any quest info for items and dungeon explorations (f.e. don't know if an item is for a quest or not) and so on...
- Repetitiveness : After a few hours of gameplay you already start to see how the same rooms, same loot, same enemies repeat
- Price of "Legendary Status" : I would prefer if this game was for like 15 euros and not trying to push players from the f2p zone to an overpriced premium account status
- Other QoL improvements that are needed : Better indications of availability of escape points, ability to show the whole map, more beginner-friendly environment, at least 2 slots for characters


I hope that all issues I have come up with (and others not mentioned) will be resolved in the full release of this game. It has the potential to become a very successful loot extraction game in my mind.

Nástupce kdysi skvělé hry působí příliš složitě a komplikovaně na hraní. Strom výzkumu nepůsobí vůbec tak přehledně jako dříve. A samotné bitvy jsou kostrbaté a rozhodně nejsou zábavné.

Vůbec tato hra nenapodobuje krásu předchozího robocraft. Naopak, na dobré věci zapomněli a přidali zbytečnosti a příliš "overengineered" mechaniky. Třeba to ale časem opraví...

JavaScripts is love, JavaScripts is life...

Recenze:
Čekal jsem od Army, že v hlavní kampani budou všechny vojenské hračky opravdu použity, aby zpestřily kampaň. K mému zklamání se toto nestalo. Ano, vojenské hračky byly využity, ale 90% hlavní kampaně je jenom zdlouhavá hra na pěšáka, potom i na velitele skupiny, ale to je asi tak všechno. Letadla, helikoptéry, tanky, atd. vůbec nebyly součástí kampaně. Příběh jsem rychle zapomněl, protože byl nezajímavý. Ovládání bylo velice komplexní, těžko se učilo a bylo složité, i když bylo velice realistické. Moc chyb a bugů jsem za 31 hodin hraní nenašel, kromě jednoho případu v misi Tipping point, když jsem šel 15 minut na sever abych se dozvěděl, že se hra zasekla. Co se mně hodně líbilo je termovize a zaměřovače s termovizí, který jsem bohužel dostal možnost využít až na konci kampaně. Termovize je opravdu povedená a reálná. Škoda je, že jsem hodně malých věcí, jako je např. přibližně 30 různých pozic modelu hráče, moc během hraní nevyužil a přišli mi zbytečné. Multiplayer jsem vyzkoušel jednou a naposledy, moc mě neoslnil.

Závěr:
Arma 3 nabízí vysoce reálný simulátor vojenský složek, dokáže velký počet věcí, které ostatní hry nenabízí. Avšak je smutné, že nejsou využity v hlavní kampani. Pokud si budete kupovat Armu 3 kvůli své hlavní kampani, nedoporučuji ji vám.

Pokuď máte rádi SCPčka, hrát pořád jako Dboy, nechávat se pořád zabíjet psem/peanutem/doktorem/larrym/shy guyem, poslouchat kidy a adminy co brečí a hru SCP:CB tak pak vám tuto hru silně doporučuji :)

Klasická a úžasná verze Counter-Striku. Je tu stokrát zábavnější hrát na komunitních serverech než v CS:GO.

+ Zabaví na hodně dlouho s kámoši.
+ K dispozici jsou všechny zbraně z HL2 a CS:S
+ Možnost přidávat si věci, zbraně, postavy a mapy z jiných Source her, např. CS:GO a Portal.
