50 hours into #Back4Blood, and this may be the most frustrating game I've ever played. It's "fun" with friends, but is a mess of inconsistent difficulty spikes, bullet sponge mobs, janky hit regs, bugs and bull manure RNG. It's a sense of relief when you slog through it, rather than any positive feeling of fulfillment or enjoyment.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for slogging. :lunar2019laughingpig: Been mostly playing it with my brother, and we just want to get the zwat skins and be done with it. We've been able to unlock 4/8 zwat skins for the original cleaners just duoing. The bugs and "wtf" bs moments are still there though. The bot AIs are still dumb as rocks. No Hope mutations are at least 2x the HP bullet sponges and there's no reason to suffer through it unless you want a banner.

After putting in the additional hours, I've come to realize this game is built to essentially be a GRIND, so if that's your type of game, have at it. 200 hrs in, and one achievement is kill 1000 boss mutations. I have 83 kills... XD One character skin unlock is to play 250 missions WITH EACH CHARACTER. Most I have on 1 character is 120. 2000 total missions to unlock a skin set on all original 8 character? Get outta here.

When you finally reach to farming burn cards, the game kinda becomes trivial. Copper is king in this game. Pay to win baby.

Is the game fun? Sure, I've said with a friend. I still would not recommend it purely based on the bugs and RNG you kinda just accept is B4B life. Swarm is awful and I do not see myself playing solo/quickplay at all.

TL:DR. Solid 6.5/10, so any recommendation for this game is grab it on discount and if GRIND/SLOGGING is your kinda thing, or else I see the interest waning off quickly for anyone else.

A pretty OK game. Can be real easy if you just want to get through a level, but if you want to pass with some of the higher ranks and achievements, it can get pretty frustrating more than fun. I'm not sure If I'm fighting the bread physics or the camera angles most of the time.

Like Dead Island, but good and the way it was meant to be.

Best damn teamworking, zombie killing game out yet.
