One of the most innovative games I've played in a while. I loved the Dishonored and Prey games - this takes all the best elements of those and delivers another high-art and fun game. The dialogue is great, the world-building is fascinating, I'm a big fan of this game. The only downfall is that the story doesn't grab you as immediately as Dishonored and Prey does - you spend the first hour or so kind of unmotivated because the stakes, characters and world are hardly defined. BUT that is part of the story- not really knowing what was going on... but as things start to click it becomes more and more fun.

Something that is thrilling about the game is the combat- and you don't feel punished for a certain playstyle like you did in Dishonored. Because of the loop system, there is so much freedom to play around with different guns, abilities, etc. Whereas in Dishonored there were entire weapons and abilities I never used because there were negative consequences to doing so.

I still have plenty to do in the game, but I can tell this is going on my favorite list.

Yes it's a marriage between 4 and 7, but it truly does have its own vibe going. It's a great game. There are legitimate surprises in the story and the game-play. And the styles of game design you go through is varied. Sometimes it's shoot-em-up survival, other times it's puzzle and walking simulation. It's fantastic. The enemies are diversified which was really my only complaint of the RE7. Some of the set pieces are so detailed and well-created; I don't think I've ever taken this many screenshots during a game. It's a special game and I have a hard time imagining anyone NOT enjoying it. In terms of performance, I've had no issues at all.

The gameplay is satisfying- the story and dialogue gets less cringy and more engaging as the game goes along. Gear drops and quest rewards give you a satisfying feeling. I imagine they will expand upon this world and I think it's a great start. If you enjoy Destiny, Remnant: From The Ashes and Warframe I think you'll enjoy this.

There are many things I could say about this beautiful game, but I'll leave with just a few. $20 isn't nearly enough for the journey this game takes you on. It's gorgeously designed, written and performed (voice acting-wise). Don't read anything about it, just buy it and play. You'll enjoy it when you don't expect any of it's whimsical turns.

There were several times where the game had me choked up.

10/10 And it's New Year's Eve... my best game of the year goes to What Remains Of Edith Finch.

Probably one of the best games I've ever played. Great world building, the story and the acting all feel cohesive and the gunplay is fun. Extremely satisfying to eliminate the radio soldiers before taking out the rest of the enemies.

I've seen a comment about a weak story a few times in these reviews and I couldn't disagree more. The story is fantastic, wonderful balance between comedy, drama and the bizarre. Villains you truly hate and some unexpected turns that actually made me gasp a few times.

Extremely likeable teammates and enough variety of them for you to choose your favorite.

9/10

One of the best games I've played in a while. One of those that makes you not want to stop playing for anything. I woke up Saturday morning after it came out at 4am, just so I could get more playtime in before heading out.

It feels like rediscovering Rapture or Columbia. There is more of an emotional world here than the one created in Dishonored, but NOT as much heart as the Bioshock series but still good. I wish there was more interactions with other characters. That would make this game 10/10 for me.

The creativity in this game to approach various scenarios is awesome and what you would expect from these developers. There are so many workarounds that I found myself restarting a quiksave to see if my other strategy would work using either the powers, the physics, the story, etc. And 9/10 times I was able to accomplish something in a different and crazy way.

Love the game. Would love to see DLC, not that the game itself needs more content, moreso that I just want more.

This is a strange game. It felt like the parts I only enjoyed were the ones reminiscent of Human Revolution. And there are a lot of them, so there's much to enjoy, but I have to say the whole game feels a claustrophobic. You spend a lot of the game in the same city and it all tends to look the same. The best part was going to the slum city and that was a brief visit.

The ending of the game is also VERY anit-climatic. So that was a bummer.

The dialogue is SO slow. There is no pace to the cut scenes and I found myself getting really bored, checking my phone, etc whenever they were talking about something. It was most likely due to this that I really didn't know what was going on plot wise haha.

It feels like an unfinished game. i'm hoping some DLC will beef up the game, but I dunno.

The gameplay is fun when it's happening, even if you don't really know why you are doing what you are doing in means of the story.

Having been a longtime Hitman fan, I can confidently recommend this game to anyone looking for the classic/ Blood Money experience. It offers a variety of options and the replayability is massive. I applaud the developers for trying out this new approach and I think it worked in their favor. I would like to see some developement in the re-using of maps for contracts and special targets, it's weird that all the same mechanisms from the real mission still occur. Makes the level feel cheap... if you know what I mean. But that's a small gripe.

It has everything you loved about Contracts and Blood Money with some of the positive updates from Absolution ( a game I didn't completely hate like everyone else)

I look forward to seeing what they do with the series from here on out. They've landed on something really unique and special, you'll have a great time.

Arkham Knight has a massive story with a ton of sidequests to explore. There's a lot of replayability with the game and a lot of variety to suit the kind of player you are.

I have not had any issues with the game, it's been running perfect and my set up is about 3 years old.

The game is beautiful like the first and I love that if you take your time and explore, you'll discover a much richer world they've created. The game is worth playing for the art direction alone.

It's a must-have if you enjoyed the first game.
