installing the split second dlc mod:

1 - Buy Split Second on steam if you havent already
2 - delete your ...steam/steamapps/common/splitsecond folder's contents (keep the folder)
3 - download the mod
4 - unzip mod into to the above split second folder
5 - launch via steam
6 - delete any existing save file via prompt (it will be corrupt)
7 - create new save
8 - go to quick game on favourite map (you will have to reunlock maps and cars)
9 - all dlc cars (like severus) should be there (not the career cars like firestorm)
