I understand some of this is my fault for buying into an early access game, but I had good intentions. I bought this game to support the developers in the hopes that I could play multiplayer with my friends in the future. This will more than likely never happen considering the events of the past month. In fact, not a single feature promised to come during early access has been released. The exception being the science update, which in itself has some annoying bugs which make the game almost unplayable. I have been on this platform for a long time, and this is my first time leaving a negative review. I usually don't leave reviews, but this extreme mistreatment of one of my favorite IPs has been atrocious. In case the recent reviews don't make it painfully obvious, this is a warning to everyone to not buy this game, and get a refund if you still can. Please sell the IP so we can have an open source KSP2. There is no point in holding on to it, it's not like people are still buying the game. In the unlikely event this game changes direction, I will change my review, but until then, STAY AWAY!!!

Favorite game evah

Before I begin I would just like to let everyone know I recieved this game through Humble Bundle's monthly program. Now, Scanner Sombre is a unique game with an interesting and beautiful art style and a rather eerie feel. The story IMO was done just right even though others may not agree. I loved the soundtrack for this game and it changed throughout the story to keep things in tune. The best part was in the cave with the glowy things. The story doesn't tell the player much, it keeps things short, simple, and a little secret. I found myself wonering about what I was going to find out next the whole way through the game, and I never knew what was about to happen.
It took me about an hour to go through this game at my own pace. This satisfied me because I don't usually play walking simulators because I find them to be dragged out and boring but this one was to the point and well executed. There isn't much replayability but I did unlock some extras after completing the game. Overall, Scanner Sombre has earned a positive review from me because of the unique art style, the story, the pacing, and the amazing soundtrack. Thank you for taking the time to read this review.
