Well, this is squarely going in my "one of the best games I've ever played" list. By far the best walking sim I've ever played, it keeps you surprised and engaged at every turn, running the gamut of emotions. Take a couple of hours and play through it in one sitting, it is absolutely worth it.

Masterpiece. One of the best games ever.

This game is good, and I do enjoy playing it, but it is FAR from perfect. The first person shooting is satisfying, and the array of weapons you get is really fun to play with, and encourages you to play how you want with what weapons you want. However, the writing is quite poor, and they shoehorned in a "choice" factor where you have to choose between one mission or another, and how it ended up going was I'd choose one person, and get yelled at by the other after. I would choose the other person for the next mission, and get yelled at by the other one after. Not a very fun process, and super predictable.

My biggest issue with the game is that it gives you this huge world to explore and seems to encourage you to tackle any situation in any way you want, but in reality, that is far from the truth. There are missions where it wants you to get from point A to point B, but if you don't go to that point in the exact way that they want you to get there, it will say you're leaving the mission area. What's the point of giving players this huge open world with many options to get around and then punishing you for seeing a different way to the objective? I'm going to get there either way; why do you care which way I get there?

Then there's the issue with how they block skills off from you behind certain objectives. Pro tip: when you're playing this game in the beginning, do your first two outposts without getting detected. These are the easiest outposts, and there is a very important skill that is locked behind liberating two outposts without getting detected. I blasted my way through the easy outposts, and am now only left with medium and hard outposts, which can be quite difficult to do without getting detected, so that important skill that I really want is now something that is an absolute chore to get and not worth the effort, in my opinion.

Speaking of bad writing, when you're driving around, there is a radio host who is not only annoying to listen and filled with failed attempts at humor, but they seriously only gave him like 3 different speeches for whatever part of the game you're in. By the end of whatever act you're in, you will have his radio shows memorized. The amount of times I've gotten out of one car and into another, and the same show I just listened to starts playing again, it just reeks of laziness.

I spent a lot of time complaining because I do like this game, but it can be quite frustrating at times. If you like first person shooters, I would pick this up if it's under $10. The world is bursting with different things to collect and discover around every corner, and that part of the game I love. The good comes with the bad, and right now, I would say it's slight above average. If I beat the game, I can update this to see if my opinion has changed.

This game with a group of friends is pure gold. And for how low the price is, it's a must buy.

How have I never heard of this game?????? I got to live out my true Viking rock god fantasy, and I legitimately got chills playing some of the songs. The premise is absolutely brilliant, and the execution is absolutely outstanding. The areas you travel through are truly beautiful (when you get the time to look at them in between banging the ♥♥♥♥ out of your drums), and this is honestly one of the most immersive experiences I've had in VR. If you're into rhythm games and rock/metal music at all, you must purchase it immediately. Although I love Beat Saber, I will say I do like this better.

Wow.

The intro to this game alone has me hooked. It helps that normal L.A. Noire is one of my favorite games, but in VR, this game is outstanding. They didn't cut any corners with this port. Everything was tailored for VR, from the gunplay, to the driving (which might be my favorite part of the experience). Absolutely one of the most immersive games I've played in VR. I can't attest to the technical problems that other players have had, since I had no problems whatsoever.

This game is worth full price, but on sale for $15 right now, it's an absolute steal. 100% recommend if you're looking for a highly polished, extremely immersive VR experience.

This is still my personal favorite GTA game. I really like the characters and the story, and the different areas of NYC are really well represented in Liberty City.

WARNING: When you start a playthrough, make sure you give yourself a bit of time, because once you start, you will not want to stop playing this game. Got into the fourth chapter, and it was extraordinarily difficult for me to shut the game off, and I only did so because it is literally three in the morning. If you're into narrative based games, this is a no-brainer. Pick it up immediately.

This game is absolutely worth your time and money. The real winners here are the atmosphere and how the story unfolds as you explore this base. The last hour or so had me hooked, and I couldn't stop until I knew how it ended. In those regards, it very much feels like a Valve game like Portal, where you discover the details of the story and the world through notes and other things you find in the environment (not saying this game is as good as Portal, but definitely takes inspiration from it). Even though I do highly recommend the game, I would wait until it goes on sale, as my purchase price of around $16 felt very much worth the money.

Bethesda did a pisspoor job making this for VR, essentially just porting it over and making it compatible with motion controls. The melee combat is absolutely terrible, and they didn't even take the time to make the audio 3D to match where you are in the environment. Just reads as very lazy.
