Insanely fun and insanely funny. Really enjoyed my time with it.

Very, very good game. A little glitchy at times, but it looks great, the combat is extremely fun and rewarding when you start unlocking abilities, and the writing and story are fantastic. Definitely pick this up, it's a great time.

Just makes me want to play Left 4 Dead again. Feels lifeless and soulless. Sure, it's satisfying to shoot stuff, but it becomes boring very quickly and has no personality whatsoever. I am the exact target audience for this game as a huge Left 4 Dead fan, but they missed the mark.

I was looking for a game that I could play for very short spurts of time that I didn't have to think too much about, but still provided a fun challenge. This game fit that bill PERFECTLY, and I'm very glad I found it. Very easy to just hop in for a bit, or for extended play sessions, which did sometimes happen. Took me 11 hours to complete on "Hard" mode, but I plan on continuing on in the harder difficulty modes. Highly recommended!

Editing this review now that I've beaten it. This game is absolutely fantastic. It's a damn shame that it released in the state that it did, because this has easily been one of my favorite gaming experiences in recent years. Loved pretty much everything about it, and I'm really hoping that more people give it a shot, because I think it's absolutely worth diving in to. Here's hoping that its reputation increases over the years, this game deserves a lot more love.

Playing through each game one right after the other is one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. Definitely in the top 5 of games you have to play before you die. Absolute perfection.

I originally wasn't going to write a review, since I assumed that this would be universally beloved and have nothing but positive reviews, which is the case for the most part. However, scrolling through reviews, I did find a popular one that was overwhelmingly negative, and at first glance, thought it was a joke in the style of the game. The more I read, though, the more I realized that it was serious, and several comments on that review thanked them for persuading them not to buy it. This is an egregious error, and I want to assure you that if you enjoyed the older versions of The Stanley Parable, you will absolutely enjoy this new version as well. It's got loads of new content that is very much in line with the style and humor of the original, and I was blown away multiple times by the size and scale of the offerings (this is also in light of the fact that I know I have not seen everything there is to offer in this new version). If you've never played this game before, I can put it to you like this. If you are a fan of video games as an artistic and interactive medium, you need to experience this. Extraordinarily unique, oftentimes hilarious, and always delightful, surprising you constantly. I can't emphasize enough how much this game will surprise you at every corner, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. I wouldn't look up any videos or guides, or anything that could potentially spoil it for you. The only way, really, to play this game is to experience it for yourself.

This game is so much fun!!! The world is incredibly detailed, lots of great RPG elements, and the soundtrack is just kickass. Highly recommended!
