I got this game during the free period and just played it.
It is more like a third person cover shooter and controls are clunky and more like a console game where one single button is bound to different actions and you can not change them to different buttons. Ammo is ver scarce, you have two people following you and you can just change their target focus.
Gameplay is kinda okay but the story......it will give you ptsd, an experience that you never had.
The story alone makes it worthy and you are gonna be amazed!

This is the best piece of software I have ever bought. I was on the fence if I really need a wallpaper engine or not. But honestly after buying it I am glad that I did. Your desktop will never be the same.

Do yourself a favor and buy it

This is a good game with fun gmeplay, you can pause time, slow down time and stack up bullets, blink etc.
gunplay is kinda okay. Do not have musch variety to it though
story is pretty good, time traveling done right. Not gonna spoil anything here
gives you different choices to play so there is replayability
visually extremely pleasing but have some jelly like effects and I did not have any poblem with it
no extensive upgrade skill trees. You can ignore them if you want, This is a very casual friendly game and you can go hardcore if you want so gets a plus from me

Overall fun game with twists... Give it a go

Played the campaign and loved each and every bit of it. It does somewhat good balance between exploration and kill all living things, even though I am not much of an explorer type but still loved the nostalgic classic doom maps and cute collectables thrown into the game.

Loved the way they threw in the story of the game away from action. Like face it, this is doom, you do not want anything to interrupt your killing spree.....though progression bound to exploration kinda did that but you can avoid exploring completely if you don't care. They also threw in some challenges in each level which made things fresh everytime. You get the whole picture and lores by reading through the interestingly written codex and artifacts which you gather throughout the game. You can just keep reading the codex for hours only

The gunplay is super fun! No spirint button, no reload button, excellent mod system and the shooting makes you feel like a complete badass.

LOVED THE GLORY KILLS! Ripping apart demons one by one makes you feel so damn powerful like nothing in the world can stop you....and suddenly you die to an Imp lol

I also liked how they made the rune system in this game, some of them synergizes together very well

This is a definite buy from me for single player. Multiplayer seems like "meh" though the single player campaign makes up for it thorough and thorough.

Definitely gets my recommendation
