If you like RAW DnD, this is the game for you.
Solasta follows the standard rule set of DnD very closely and implements most core concepts.

The combat is tight and tactical, the exploration is enjoyable and the many user campaigns grant a lot of replayability.
Solasta's glaring weakness is its main story, which is frankly not good. If you enjoy games with a good narrative and important choices enough that this is a dealbreaker, feel free to skip this one.

Overall Solasta is a great game so long as you know what you want from it. If tactical combat and exploration is what you want, stop hesitating and buy this game!

Why would you, my military ally, declare war on my vassal just to get destroyed in a couple turns?
One of the most exciting games I've played, campaigns can go a lot of ways and the AI is very unpredictable in how mentally challenged it is.
Send your caster lord to engage the enemy and watch them blob into your blade wind. Thanks for carrying me Malekith!

Warband with better graphics and gameplay.
Experiencing pretty bad stuttering with an i3-8100, but it's not game breaking yet.

Great fun when you win, rage inducing when you lose.

With the right mods, you can make this above average game a masterpiece.
I'd mostly just recommend those who love modding to buy this game. On it's own it gets quite boring due to the painfully average combat system. So get some combat enchancing mods, texture packs and game changing expansions for free and enjoy.

Best strategy game i've played. Don't hesitate, get this game and conquer Japan already!

Great combat, great level design, great bosses, great music and good pvp.
No poise though..

This game has the greatest combat system i've ever experienced in an rpg. Not even Dark Souls can top this masterpiece.
Playing a magic archer, shooting 10 magical arrows that scatter in the air and hit multiple targets is incredibly satisfying.
Not to mention the amazing soundtrack and support for 60+ fps.
Only con i could think of would be the graphics and lack of proper NG+.

A very challenging game, but incredibly addicting once you get the hang of it. The PC version had some problems with the controls, but they were easy to fix in the settings. Though you might get stuck at some point, because you're not getting summoned at all. (This is annoying, but not gamebreaking at all)
Overall a really great game.
