a very good game if you want to rogue like with the best of em, not the best story around as it's very slim and notes are scattered here and there, but game play is king with this one and Boy is the game play good. Right off the bat you get two unique play styles in the rifle and revolver with their own unique mechanics, and quickly can unlock more if your well versed in movement and damage avoidance. 24 for the base edition is very affordable considering the game play loop of this game.

pro's: each weapon has a total of 9 unique play styles (3 primary fire modes and 3 secondary fire modes) that means almost any combo of weapon can be made with the games 8 total weapons (72 combinations in total, with 9 going to each if your curious)

several strong upgrade combinations that allow you to either hyper focus or give each attack it's own role.

a very interesting art style.

good cosmetic variety.

good enemy variety.

and surprises for the late game.

Cons: bosses are repetative in their order. (haven't tested end game completely so might change in endless mode)

no hades like story. (not every game/roguelite needs one, but i can't ignore the possibility that someone is compairing roguelite's to the hades twins)

lack of NPC's to liven up the home base.

and the shanty at the start/end of the trailer is not in any of the games music as far as i am aware.

this game makes people on twitter mad, several of them going as far as attempting to forge evidence of theft, yet they have all failed due to their reasons being cringe. buy the game, embrace palworld, and shoot guns.

only complaint is it needs more romance options.

butter is too rough to explain how Smooth this game feels to play.

spooky and makes you think on your feet, while it isn't the most original story as my current distance through the campaign shows, this excellent real time x-com will put your planning and starcraft skills to the test to navigate it like the puzzle that it is.
