I, personally, had already linked my account as I *already* have a psn account and don't care too much.

For it to be forced onto players that don't want it or can't because PSN isn't supported in their countries is pretty fu ked. Also Steam probably won't be too happy about Sony trying to shoehorn in on their data. So we'll see how this goes and if Sony steps back on this.

Yes it's in the EULA but expecting people to read 30 pages of legalese is beyond stupid but there's no law that says they have to have a TLDR. There is a law that says they have to have a EULA though.

This game is not even remotely easy.

But sometimes its super satisfying taking a Cruiser from the Shipworks into a small difficulty 10 mission and just...annihilating everything.

Nothing so relaxing as cutting up a big ship while the screams of the damned fill your helmet..

So, contrary to what the top rated review says here, you *can* actually register your Steam version at the Mog Station on Square-Enix's website.

It's pretty simple.

Log in to your Steam account. Goto your library. Right click on FF XIV. Click show CD codes. Keep this pop up open.

Next open your browser and goto your square-enix account. Goto mog station and open up your account services. Once there, you'll see 'Registration Codes'. You'll be prompted to enter your CD key for the expansion. Copy it, keeping in mind you have to keep them capitilized.

Once you get it entered correctly, you'll be prompted to log into steam on your browser. Do so and voila, your expansion is now registered.
