Game is a lot of fun, but man the bots are stupid.

In one game a bot crafted a raft 7 times in a row, only to discard it after each turn because he didn't have room to carry it - absolutely wasting his turn in the process. This did happen years ago, and the bots have been updated since, but you certainly see some strange decisions even now.

Some games can also become unwinnable due to sheer bad luck - certain cards on certain spots with certain characters can mean the win condition can never be reached (looking at the elf with a healer on the woods here). In a real game with a human, there'd be a consensus the game is in a kind of broken state, and there'd be an agreement not to continue exploiting this, however with a bot the only course of action is to start a new game.

The regular ending is also extremely unsatisfying and generally a waste of time against bot players - certainly recommend changing that through house rules.

In case you haven't played Talisman before, I should also mention the game is heavily based on dice rolling, and is moreso a game of chance than skill - I certainly wouldn't take it too seriously. As a result, you can take any generic complaint about RNG in video games and accurately apply it to Talisman. Make sure you see it for what it is.

The game is a lot of fun, despite the AI fumbles, and you can typically find it on sale either here on steam or elsewhere for a pittance - however I'd suggest getting some friends to play with!
