I knew this game would shatter and alter my brain chemistry the moment I felt its atmosphere. It is simply a masterclass in Resident Evil style gameplay, with incredible retro graphics and beautiful characters. The lore is cryptic and as such manages to maintain a sense of dread throughout the entire experience, as your mind will never truly understand everything that's going on, leaving your sense of wonder intact even after finishing said game. You are meant to play this multiple times, if your mind can even last once that is.

I'm upset they didn't separate Global Offensive into its own separate title. Instead, they opted to turn it into a beta, which means it will not receive any benefits like the rest of the series. No Source Engine updates and no networking improvements. At least you can properly play and host servers on 1.6 and Source, but not on this one, not without unofficial modifications, that is. Plus, the last version of Global Offensive we got is completely different to the original one from 2013. What if I wanted to play the game before the Panorama Update?

I am surprised this game was actually good.
The parry mechanic felt incredible, and the combat is punchy!
Actually a very fun game!
Genuinely wish to see more of this lol!
