Injustice is 1 is a good game overall with a a good amount of single player content to play through. First there's the story mode, which is only about 90 minutes to 2 hours long but fun for a quick playthrough.

While I think the story is good, I don't feel like it spends a lot of time going into more detail explaining how the world changed in the events leading up to the story. For anyone interested in the story, I would highly recommend the Injustice: Year One comics as they explain everything that occurred within the past five years before the game's story begins.

Outside of the Story mode, it has an Arcade mode, referred to as "Battles" where you can choose between multiple arcade towers to play through. For example, you can choose separate towers where you can fight against either heroes only, villains only, or a random mix of both. There's also other different towers where you fight under different conditions, such as a survival tower, fighting while poisoned, or having to beat each opponent within 30 seconds.

The one major downside to this game though is the PC port itself. The first issue is gameplay-related where when you knock someone into a well, the game then switches into a stage transition where the game takes a massive frame rate drop. This may be due to the stage transitions set to run at 30 fps on console versions.

The one other problem with the PC port are random crashes. This game crashed on me twice while playing in the "battles" mode and then crashed a third time when I simply tried toggling the setting to enable subtitles in the story mode.

If you have a Playstation 4/5 console, I would recommend buying that version as it does not have any crash-related issues.

Awesome and fun game to play for both newcomers to fighting games and veterans alike. While the initial roster of characters can be considered small at 15 characters compared to more recent fighting games like Tekken 7 and Mortal Kombat 11, each one is so wildly different and fun to play with.

For newcomers new to video games, the game starts out asking you to join the tutorial to show the very basics and In the main menu, there's a separate mission mode to show the different mechanics available for use in the game. For veteran fighting game players, you can use mechanics such as the Roman Cancel to stop time for a split second to create more advanced combos.

As far as the online goes, the netcode is the best I have ever experienced in a fighting game. At the time of this review, I've spent over 13 hours playing and I can't think of one occasion where I experienced any online lag during matches. The lobby is still not great though as the occasional "dual station" error pops up but once you get into a match, the game feels fantastic to play.
