Genuinely want to love this game, but I have been having unbearable issues with crashing. From what I've seen online, it's largely an issue with how the game interacts with certain drivers (which is why some people will not experience crashes and others will). In the team's credit, they are aware of the issue and working on it actively. However in the meantime I can't justify the $50 price tag for an experience that has me crashing every 30 minutes :(

I'll likely come back later once the game is much more stabilized! Worth noting for those experiencing this that this issue might not happen with you!

This is a completely different game when playing solo and I would not suggest running it solo during your first time playing. However, this game is amazing with friends and I would highly suggest it in that case!

genuinely fun and unique gameplay + i completely understand why the entire main cast bullies white now

genuinely some of the most fun ive had with gameplay in a really long time. did not know i needed a doom adjacent rhythm game in my life until now, but here i am. literally my only complaint is that i wish it was longer.

game of the year 11/10 the sex update was an incredibly nice touch

i went into this game not expecting it to be as complex as it was but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was i proven wrong quickly. even after getting every achievement, there was still dialogue options and branches that i hadn't seen before. gameplay is a bit complicated, but once you get the hang of it it's actually pretty fun to go through!

Genuinely one of my favorite games of all time.

Combat is fun and gets better as you unlock more functions throughout the game, though i can see it not being everyone's cup of tea. I personally adore the story, though coming back to this game after playing Pyre and Hades, I can see it being the weaker one out of the Supergiant bunch. Transistor is also on the shorter side compared to other Supergiant games, you will likely be able to finish this game in ~3-4hrs (~6hrs if you choose to do recursion).

Generally speaking, I am more than happy to suggest this game to other people! However I would probably suggest waiting for it to be on sale as the 20 USD price tag doesn't feel worth the game length (Pyre is about twice as long as this game, same price. Hades is significantly longer than this game, five dollars more.) Just my personal taste though.

very relaxing! very soothing! short game, but a really nice way to wind down. only complaint i have is that the controls on both keyboard + mouse AND on controller can be kind of a pain.
