Why did you guys remove the ability to dig holes? Literally the reason I liked this game.

This is a pretty good game. Far too easy, though. Most enjoyable with live humans and the following personal challenges:

1. No outside sources, like guides for weapons locations.
2. No vehicle deliveries.
3. Limit HUD to only key reminders.
4. Use appropriate/immersive weapons and clothing for the mission.
5. No kit changes except at rebel strongholds.
6. No drones.

The AI distance is limited, so if you engage at range, you won't face much resistance. At higher difficulties, the AI is VERY quick and accurate at close range.

Have clocked twenty two hundred hours at this point in Arma 3 alone, probably another six hundred in Arma 2. Practically one of three game franchises I ever actually play. The key is to find a good community with a solid formula. Arma 3 is a highly customizable experience and will vary greatly from group to group and individual to individual. Find a group, do what you do. Be prepared for some slow burn type gameplay. Pacing can require quite a bit of patience, as it should. There are hardly any games on the market able to compete with Arma within the milsim genre.
