Played both Wipeout (3 and Pulse) and F-Zero (X and GP Legends), didn't play any of those as long as I've been playing Redout over the last months.

AI doesn't cheat like F-Zero and ships are actually fast unlike WipeOut.

Speed comes with a few negative points, like ships having almost no weight or else collisions would hurt a lot, thus making hitting walls faster than avoiding them depending on situation.
AI not cheating makes it really slow, especially in higher classes, where I'd often lap a few opponents in even the shortest races, but I've also heard lots of people still got problems with beating AI, so maybe it's just me and a few others there.

Online isn't very great, mainly because the game isn't very known. If you really wanna get into online you should join the Discord Server found in a pinned Thread in the General Discussions Forum.

Artstyle and Soundtrack are great, not really sure what else to say about that.

Like any racing game, there's not a lot to do after you finished career except if you're into time trials or online, so make sure you're interested in atleast one of the two if you want to get alot out of it.

There was a mission where all I had to do was pressing X to beat up some randoms that were in my way. 10/10
