Writing this at 250-260 hours played on Arch as well as Ubuntu (with Proton)
Pros:
Incredible Gameplay Foundation, so much fun.
Improved Performance (to an extent); I have noticed improvements over launch.
Works well with Proton.

Cons:
Paradox's Mod Store is a major gripe;Paradox decided to implement its own mod store instead of utilizing Steam Workshop.
It feels strange that bicycles are (still) missing.
Performance Issues with Large Cities, despite having a high-end PC.
The launcher is absolutely abysmal and sucks baby gorilla ♥♥♥♥; It is just an additional layer between the game and steam.
Gets boring quickly without mods

Final Thoughts:
CS II is an enjoyable game that shows promise. However, it’s hard not to compare it to its predecessor, which was a true masterpiece in the genre. Right now, CS II is unfinished in my eyes. If you’re willing to overlook its shortcomings and missing features, there’s still a lot of fun to be had. I’m optimistic that updates and expansions could help the game reach its full potential, but for now, it’s more of a rough gem than a polished diamond.

I would still recommend it!

I just can't stop playing this game.
I am always thinking to myself, well maybe just 20 minutes and I keep going for hours.

If u want to play the game on stable 30 FPS you need 2 Nvidia Geforce Titan Z Graphic Cards built in.
