Picked this game as the simulator I wanted to use to fly drones. I feel pretty comfortable with an RC remote after flying Acro mode for 12 hours. I'll probably continue to put in hours until I'm not crashing in the game before I take the skills to real drone flying. But the physics feel accurate and I feel like I'm picking up the flying skills I need to become a beginner on a drone.

The courses are gorgeous and the soundtrack has no right being this friggin' good! There are tons of Workshop tracks and drones to download too for when you get adventurous enough.

I've never had a Souls-like game vibe with me before. The fact that this is open world and allows me to abandon boss fights if I wish and go take on other challenges to level up helps tremendously. The gameplay and trickery is still very difficult, but it's much more digestible in this format than the linear nature of Dark Souls.

It was fine until they shut the servers down. Pretty lame now unless you really enjoy tinkering with every single car's tuning.

This is scratching the Armored Core itch for me.
It's made by some of the same developers who helped make Armored Core a reality at From Software years ago. It has similar customization and gameplay feels much faster than any Armored Core I remember playing. I recommend this if you don't mind the mission-based gameplay. It doesn't really feel like I am altering the story with my actions and feels like a slapped on story to good gameplay, Boy does it get the gameplay right though! Upgrades feel significant and the mech balance feels right to me too.

Definitely check this out if you've been wanting a first/third person mech game.

The vampire mechanic is cool, but progression gets TEDIOUS. As long as you're ok with that, I recommend the game. I'm probably done playing after putting in about 30 hours of gameplay.

I've explored the whole map and am feeling like I'm up against a wall instead of having the same level of progression. There is too much lateral progression that tries to make the game seem interesting and not enough vertical progression to keep it interesting for me.

I don't know how far along in the story I am with 11 hours under my belt, but I'm really enjoying this game so far. It's exactly what I was looking for. It's ARPG enough without being overwhelming like a Path of Exile type game. The RPG elements seem basic at first glance, but go deep enough to warrant thoughtful application of skill points and equipment. Highly recommend you play this game if you want an ARPG without all the dungeon crawling.

I am loving this game and am sad I didn't give it much of a shot earlier. It was terrible having to use the gyro/accelerometer to balance on Brave Trails in the game and it made me put the game down. So glad I picked it back up on PC and these "features" have been removed from the game. It's very enjoyable now and I can see why it gets the high praise that it does.

Love the game! Haven't played it with friends but the solo experience is well thought out and paced. I really look forward to what the devs do with this game and hope they continue pushing it in the right direction.

I conditionally recommend this game. If you like looting games like Diablo, Path of Exile, or Torchlight but didn't like the top down approach and wish it were a shooter, this is your game. It's a lot of grinding and a lot of work. Most quests lead into further steps for the same quest. Just be ready for that delayed satisfaction.

I conditionally recommend this because I don't know what sunsetting/vaulting content is going to do to the quality of gameplay in November. I'm cautiously optimistic that it won't be a giant pile of garbage, but there will be stuff that new players won't be able to get after November that people who have been playing for years will have. It could cause issues in PVP, but I'm sure Bungie will work it out. I just hope it doesn't slaughter the experience of the game as a whole. I'm excited about bringing Destiny 1 content into the game finally since I didn't get to play the first Destiny.

Overall if you like looting and you like grinding, this game is a hell of a lot of fun.
