So far this game has got me. I've got to the point where I've completed the island but, after completeing all encounters on the island there is nothing left to do until release. The combat is fun and soloing the game so far is doable and actually quite challenging. Thank GOD they let you solo now and made it doable.

Graphics are gorgeous 10/10
Gameplay is really fun and there are a lot of useful utility skills to learn 10/10

Different ways to complete quests, they have a nice flow and, are meaningful to complete.

They brought back a certain 'merchant' which I like.

I ran the game flawless on an i7-3770 with a gtx980ti. The reason I say this is because most early access games have issues with performance even with those specs and I can safely say I haven't had any of those yet.

If the game has as much content in all zones as the first with interesting quests and interactive areas/secrets, this will be one of the best games in 2017. So far so good, keep it up Larian Studios.

Too unbalanced right now. The stress bar fills up too fast and the money doesn't come very quick, it's a retreat simulator as of right now. The game is good past the actual stress mechanic. I don't agree with the mechanic to be honest, it forces you to skip turns majority of the time and the enemy doesn't seem to have a stress function so you're at a major disadvantage.

I like the upgradeable town mechanics and heirlooms that you can use but, I just can't seem to get past the stress function I feel if you're an adventurer or dungeon-delver you should already know what you're getting yourself into, why are you stressing so much that you can't act?

Literally by the third wave of enemies I have amassed a total of 400 stress points. Yes, all four characters with maxed stress. Since relieveing stress requires money, majority of the time you're raiding and retreating for small amounts of gold to get your people relief. I don't really agree with that design choice but, to each their own.

This game is an excellent bar to set for other game companies.

The story is one of the best I've had the pleasure of experienceing. My favorite picks would be BG2, BG2TOB, NWN, BG1.

Combat is flawless and follows to a small degree(loosely) the DND ruleset which is known in IE games for being a staple mechanic.

The sheer amount of content with the Endless Dungeons and bounties adds much flair and things to do. Let's not forget that you get your own keep and can upgrade it AND pay people to guard it! There are multiple secret areas and numerous items good and bad to find.

This game from start to finish took about 32+ hours to complete with about 60% of the game explored and completed.
There are multiple facets that I havn't even discovered and I plan on replaying through the game again solo.


Overall: 9.5/10
