The game is an RPG-lite where you collect characters to use in turn-based fights; levelling up does not do anything except to increase stats. The battle system is fun and immediate; each character is assigned a type but can be in possession of different types of moves. Do not worry about learning a wide variety of weaknesses and resistances like in Pokémon: there are only three types of characters and moves and they are all represented by a rock/paper/scissor icon, so you always know who is weak against whom. The game is heavily reliant on RNG. Each action consumes a set amount of SP, that is incremented at the start of every turn by rolling a dice. For every battle you win, the party will receive Stars, the ingame currency with which buying new characters; you pay a fixed amount of Stars to get a random card. Withdrawing new cards can be frustrating, it might happen that you find a great amount of rare cards (I'm talking to you, Shifu&Robot!) but miss the more common card you need, for example it took me a fair amount of hours to get an item like the Dangerous Pudding. Luckily, the game knows when to end so that the RNG doesn't become an hassle to deal with.

I think the game could shine especially in the multiplayer mode, too bad that there isn't much activity anymore.

I found the art style to be really cute and spot on with the silly and lighthearted nature of the story.
