I genuinely liked this Halo. I didn't have much hope for it after the debacles of 4 and 5, neither of which was good imo. I'm more of a campaign player over online player, and I found the story to be enjoyable. The character arcs for the pilot, the new AI, and Chief were all interesting that ended with positive growth for all characters involved. For the first time it appears 343 finally did some justice to the characters. The only downside is that right now missions are not replayable, so you can't go back and collect missed collectables i.e., audio logs and skulls. They've already stated that they will be changing this later on, and will be adding mission replays with coop campaign and forge mode.

There are some gripes I have with the game of course, it feels like every vehicle in the game aside from the Wraith is genuinely not good. Driving is a pretty miserable experience and the vehicles are very very fragile, once again aside from the Wraith. Many of the weapons also do not feel as good, the new shotgun is not just lame in appearance and feel, but it's also incredibly weak. They should have never replaced that iconic Halo shotgun. Aside from the sections of the game where there was no ammo available I found myself not using anything but the Assault Rifle or the Battle Rifle. The sniper isn't good, the rocket launcher isn't good, and neither are most of the old classics. The needler feels worthless, the new plasma rifle isn't very good, and the beam rifle replacement sucks too.

All in all, very fun campaign with a riveting story with great main protagonists, the antagonists are VERY hokey and feel like comic book villains, but it fit in the context of the story so I let it slide. Aside from the weapon/vehicle issues I think the campaign is well worth the money.

My only hot take, is that I think the new AI is much better than Cortana ever was.

I don't play base HOI4, I play this game solely for TNO. Alexei Lives.

Overall I give the game a 7 out of 10, I do not suggest spending 40 dollars on it though. Game is worth maybe 15-20ish dollars. Graphics are outdated, limited to 3 man lobbies, PVE only, can't communicate with lobby, if your or the host drop that's it there's no reconnecting. Other than that though it's a good time, pick it up on sale and maybe they'll give us some more content because other than the different difficulties and Horde Mode you're just running the same 4 missions over and over.

Game had potential, and it might be good in the future, but at the moment it is not. The aesthetics of the game are not pleasing, and the UI isn't up to par. 4X games live and die by their art and music, and this game has mediocre for both. The core gameplay mechanics are shallow at the moment, Religion feels like it was added in just to be there, the civics aren't good, the AI interactions aren't that great either. Also, the loading screen for the game is super pozzed, lets be real. It feels like the game was made with agenda, the narrator is very cringe, and so is almost all of the flavor text. While usually it's easy to look past the politics of a game and enjoy it, I wasn't able to do so here.

The game has positives, the combat is interesting and while at the moment it doesn't really work as intended, at least I hope it doesn't, it has a lot of potential to be very good. I also think the overworld itself is appealing as well, you don't get burn out from looking at the world, at least I didn't. However... that's really all I can say on for the positives.

All in all, not worth the money nor is it worth your time, very mediocre 4x game.

Not as good as Persona 3, but a lot better than Persona 5. Good way to kill some time and enjoy a good story.

Made the switch from WoW to SWTOR, I love SWTOR, but solely as a single player game. I played all the content, had a great time, but I was wanting something just a bit more, and I think I found it with this game. The community is kind and welcoming, and very helpful. The gameplay really isn't any different than any other tab-targeting MMO (Swtor, WoW, etc..) and is fairly simple to learn. My only con for this game is the AWFUL transmog system. This game has beautiful gear and outfits, but man the Glamour system is terrible, especially coming from WoW and Swtor where the system is much, much better. Other than that, nothing negative to say. I think WoW and Swtor players like myself will really enjoy FFXIV,

Peggle is the best time killer game ever made, I can't tell you how often I get bored and just play this. Killer soundtrack as well.

Dude it's AoE2, what else needs to be said. Been playing this game since 00, just buy it and play it, you'll have fun.

Fantastic game, able to larp as chad Hyperboreans with my friends while we kill trolls, build churches, and search caves for loot. Absolutely recommend, even in its current early access state the game is worth more than what they're charging, especially if you have friends to play with.

It's genuinely one of the best games I have ever played, this game is worth more than they charge for it. Best Rouge-Like I've ever played. The characters are great, each weapon is fun. The voice acting and music are phenomenal. The art direction is great, some of the character designs could be a bit better, but it's not enough to detract from them. All I can say is GOTY, buy this game, and play it.
