Beautiful, unnerving, challenging, and expansive. Great experience.

Going into this game with high hopes and low expectations, I was constantly surprised how well they Eidos pulled this off. The story was executed extremely well with near perfect pacing, humor that never felt cringy, and characters that were likable and evolving throughout.

The graphics, set pieces, and style captured the fun of the movies/comic and left me actually awestruck at times. The implementation of innovative sci fi themes also gave GOTG a really rich feel.

The game play built up its loop in a really fun and natural way, making you feel like a badass as all of the mechanics were introduced. I never felt bored and actually looked forward to the enemy encounters as they became more complex.

Loved it and I don't just recommend it for fans of the movies but for anyone that likes to have fun.

A unique, somber, and wild RPG that brought me into its world. The addition of the amazing narrator in The Final Cut was a perfect choice. Highly recommended for any bizarre story lover. I only wish there was more of it.

Shadow of War was more Shadow of Mordor with a couple extra toppings. The fortresses were fun but unneccesary and the final 10 hours of the game was a complete grind just to get the "true" ending. I loved the combat and the meta game of grooming your favorite orcs so that made the small annoyances worth dealing with. Play this if you liked Mordor or just go play Mordor again.
