[This is a review of Black Ops Multiplayer only. I do not cover the campaign in this review]

This is a classic game, and fun if you're okay with a drastically dimished playerbase. It's based on private servers and you may have to just settle for whatever gamemodes people are playing at any given moment. Because servers are private, the owners may have rules in place which sometimes include "No camping" or banning certain killstreaks the server owner finds to be overpowered. I personally disagree with these types of rules but that's the way it is on some servers, so be mindful
You're also sure to run into some hackers. Some server owners may deal with them, others may not. Things like this come with playing an old game in a series where games deprecate over time.

Easily my favorite VR game. It's a serious workout but finishing hard levels is very satisfying. The only way I can think to improve this currently is to add more built-in levels.

Okay game, but only buy it if it's on sale.

WARNING: YOU WILL HAVE TO SET UP THE CONTROLS MANUALLY IF YOU PLAN TO USE A KEYBOARD

PROS:
- Looks really nice
- Runs well
- Simple, but fun (once you get the controls set up)
- Good soundtrack (Chipzel, great chiptune artist)

CONS:
- Clearly not made for Keyboard/Mouse. The controls arne't mapped by default and the in-game cues to press buttons are all controller based.
- The soundtrack is locked to the chipzel songs. No option to import songs
- This is NOT a rhythm game. The gameplay is not tied to the song at all. You're just on a track collecting coins and avoiding opsticles and the music is just sortof there...
- The randomly generated tracks are pretty poorly generated. There will be long stretches of just going in a straight line with nothing to collect.

Good game, but there are too many hackers (basically just 10 year olds with mod menus) in multiplayer, still to this day. Rockstar's response to that was to ban mods, even in singleplayer. Ridiculous. The modders still exist but singleplayer mods continue to get banned.

So if you plan on modding, do not buy this game.

Nazi Dinosaurs. I don't think it really needs more explanation than that. Buy it.

Starting with the good things:

- The maps are huge and randomly generated for the most part. There is a decent amount of order in how the map is generated, which makes it easy to find out if your friends are near you. Landmarks like Lighthouses or other buildings can also help with this.

- Exploring is fun. Finding a rad town or walking along the road and breaking the barrels and finding items you want is very exciting.

- The crafting system is complex, but pretty easy to figure out. You don't need to go on a wiki to find the crafting recpies, although the rust wiki can be very helpful for things.

- Building is fun but expect to run out of materials fairly fast.

- The game is a grind, but is for the most part fun if you're patient.

Now for the bad things:

- Raiders. Pretty much if you have a life outside of this game, you are going to get raided frequently. You better have a large group to play with if you are playing on any server that regularly has players. Yes, you can protect your base, but there are always ways to get in.

- Being a fresh spawn is VERY hard, If someone who has anything sees you, you are probably going to die. 99% of the time, other players are hostile and unforgiving. They don't care if you're new. They don't care that you have absolutely no way of fighting back, or even that you have nothing on you but a rock and a torch. They kill you just to kill you and for no other reason.

- Very toxic community. If you even dare to ask how to start off as a noob, you will get bombarded with rudeness (for the most part) or people saying you're butthurt or "cry more lol" if you so even respond to them killing you. I really dislike the "This is rust, be good or get out" mentality of the community as if because it's hard, you're supposed to just suck it up and deal with it.

Suggestions for the game

- Singleplayer mode - This would be very useful for people who just want to get some practice in before playing on large servers.

- Nerf the raiders - It is far too easy to raid small bases. Anyone with some C4 can raid an offline player. It should be more of a challenge to raid small bases, even if you are further ahead than the people who built those bases. It's also impossible to protect yourself even if they have guns unless they have terrible aim and you can somehow kill them with your axe or rock. It should be possible to protect yourself as a newish player against enemies.

Overall right now, expect an early access quality game. It's buggy as of now because it's still in alpha.

Would recommend if you're into survival games and are willing to help test out an unfinished game.

This game is extremely fun. I have spent hours on it and have played through it a few times. The puzzles are challenging and creative. The community-made puzzles in the workshop give this game some much more replayability.

Decent game considering it's free. I like how you can slide to try to avoid enemies. The only problem I have is that it's pretty buggy. The game stutters sometimes while playing and it feels weird to look around. I feel like there's a higher delay between when I move my mouse and when the screen moves. The running is also a little buggy, it will sometimes glitch. I also couldn't find an FOV slider, which is pretty annoying because the FOV is pretty low by default.

Overall, I recommend trying it considering it's free, but there are some rough edges to work out.
