From everything I’ve experienced so far this game has a lot of great potential and should not be slept on! The artstyle is nice, the humor is fun while not being too overbearing, the world, premise, and story is pretty interesting and I can see it probably has a lot of different possibilities with the direction it can be taken with a setup like this. Finally, the platforming so far seems pretty simple and but has a lot of potential. Definitely give this demo a shot when you can!

PICK THIS GAME UP! it's exactly what i expected from a game like this and more. It uses it's inspirations to craft a very beautiful and unique world and story with some really fun combat. The bosses are amazing and a lot of the dialogue is extremely thought provoking. This game made me think a lot more than I thought I would. I think story and worldbuilding wise I could almost compare it to outerwilds and hollow knight. And with an outstanding ost to compliment it. The combat is just mwah! chefs kiss! The only possible gripe i have with it is how you don't really have any invincibility frames between hits you take so you can get stun locked or killed really quickly and it can sometimes feel unfair. But again it's a small gripe. The combat is so good. I know the comparison "like a dance" comes up a lot when describing bosses these days but they really do flow so well especially once you know the parry timings. This is just all around an amazing game and I hope it gets the attention it deserves. 9.5/10.
