Recommend to give it a chance. It's like a remaster. No so exactly the same as original HL1. Somewhat bigger and longer. Compared todays FPS-es it's a bit montonous, a bit too much, but at the end I say it worth to play. Xen's atmosphere is good, puzzles are just engough, you can solve them before they gets frustrating.
So it worth a shot.

1st of all, it is a demoscene production. At least check on wiki[en.wikipedia.org] what it is, because this is not a game, not a tool, in fact it is a real time rendered animation, let's say an art production. The curiosity of the production that its size is only 64kB[en.wikipedia.org]. An average jpeg image is 20-30x bigger... or Path of Exile's size is apx. 360 000x

It's a terrible game. OK, maybe 9 years ago this kind of bad design was acceptable. I have just finished the last fights and they are truely unbalanced. Until that you can easily kill every target, but the last group of templars and the groups after them are much more harder to kill. The previous events does not prepares you for that. At first the game looks cool... secret organization, age of knights, place is middle-east and you can jump on and from rooftops. There are two moments what are evaluable: jumping and killing with assassin's blade and jumping from a tower to a haystack. But these enjoying moments are lasts for a short time and becomes repetitive.
So if you plan to play it now, I suggest to make it quick, No achievements and others worth it. Just see the history, because this game seems to be in the history of videogames. As I said, it could be good in its time, but now its more like annoying and dull. ...and don't give up at the last assassination target. If you find out how to control those templars, the figths after that won't be harder.

Rég játszottam ilyen jót kalandjátékkal. Nagyon kellemes, őszi hangulata van, kiváló zenékkel, jó karakterekkel, imádni való főhőssel. Beszippant, és úgy maradsz. :-)

A legélvezetesebb GTA rész eddig (a GTA V lehet, hogy megüti majd ezt a szintet). Jó sztori, élvezetes játékmenet, kiváló rádióállomások, körberepülhető hatalmas terep, és sok-sok minijáték.
