In terms of quality, this collection is shaping up to be the best yet: after completing half the games, I've not yet found a single one that wasn't entertaining and creative. The theme (spooky/cute or "spoopy") may put some people off and I was initially a bit cautious of it myself, but there's still a decent amount of horror here and the cuteness factor doesn't diminish that.

Particular credit must go to Matter over Mind (an excellent stealth / puzzle / action game), Submission (a fantastic game which keeps switching genres when you least expect it) and Eden: Garden of the Faultless (best described as FFVII's Chocobo races except with creepy bat demons).

I did enjoy this game, but I feel that I need to leave a cautionary review to point out that the game description on the store page is very misleading, particularly the claims that "each walkthrough is unique" and that "a huge Victorian estate is open for exploration". While I did enjoy the game I played, it was absolutely not the game I expected from the description.

When the description talks about "each walkthrough", it actually means each of the 5 scripted paths through the house. They are unique from each other, but each is still a linear story, and once you pick one of those paths only the relevant rooms for that path will open, usually in a fixed order - the house is not "open for you to explore" and it's actually very linear once you've picked a path. The "riddles and puzzles" are also pretty limited - one story does have a cool puzzle mechanic that's used throughout, but the other four stories have perhaps 2 puzzles between them.

If the devs update the store page to be more accurate then I would revise this to a recommend because it is a good game, but as it is currently I can see someone buying this expecting something much more open and less linear (like I did) and being really disappointed.

A delightfully camp but genuinely heartfelt horror comedy. If you enjoy The Twilight Zone and/or Welcome to Nightvale then this will be right up your street.

It's a fairly short game (~2 hrs for a single playthough of the six episodes) but there are quite a few branching paths with different outcomes to discover through making different choices, and the characters are very likeable.

I bought this game on a recommendation from Rock Paper Shotgun, and I'm glad I did. I really enjoyed the writing and characterisation, and the main storyline strikes a good balance between humour and intrigue. There are also some clever surprises which play with your expectations and the format the story follows, as well as some lovely moments in the storylines with the individual cats.

I have a couple of nitpicks: the story has six 'acts', but could perhaps have done with cutting a couple of these because by the last two I was just wanting to get to the finish and they were less memorable than some of the earlier ones. It could also benefit from an option to replay specific acts or skip content you've already seen, because you effectively have to 'win' each act to get the best ending and so failing one means replaying everything.
