Do you like rougelikes? do you love tower defense? Do you like having to learn the game mechanics to the point your head is a spreadsheet for the game? if you said yes, Then this is the game for you!

if not, the idea of a tower defense rougelike with totally opaque game mechanics, a learning curve like a cliff, and no real concession's to gameplay balance should probably drive you away. i didn't pay for this and man i would be upset if i did. if you don't know what a rougelike is, it's shorthand for random level generation here which is probably the last thing a tower defense game should be doing, but tower defense addicts need to make their heroin somehow.

Have you ever wanted to actually do the settling down after being an adventurer and running a tavern? Now you cam, complete with patrons that seem to piss on the ground while they walk and throw their dishes at the back walls if they think you aren't looking, a do-nothing cat, and a bunch of time wasting chores like endlessly pulling up water from the well!

It is fun, although there's some shortcomings. you can't sample your product, you don't really get in on any gossip far as i've seen, and the crafting system tends to break down tasks along way too many tables for whatever reason, but at under 20 bucks you get a pretty decent inn-keeping game, i really do want to get those bandits i hear about to parley about some fencing or smuggling work. or start a cult, really feel like i should start a cult.....

This game is on discount more often than three-day old bread, exactly none of the DLCs add anything but cosmetics nobody else even cares about, and is still being actively supported by the staff.

If you enjoy exploration, bug-killing, teamwork, or roleplaying a drunken, highly unsafe skilled trade professional you will probably love this game. Press V to salute your team with a Rock and Stone.

The creamy mellow intital work that led to the nutty wildcard shoot'n'loot action of the later borderlands games, the first game is a great way to find out if you'll enjoy playing these games enough to get to the end game. Less crazy mechanics, more linear enemy growth and plenty of of wasteland flavor without the need to check if they cut your weed with peyote, this remaster is a nice ride.

They DO need to update it with a weapon viewer like the later games have, though.

a dark, miserable co-op shooter, just like Warhammer 40,000 should be!

Spoiler, sonic isn't actually dead. I thought they were finally going to get rid of the blue tumor and make kid chameleon their mascot...

not enough of a sim management game to keep the dungeon building fun, not self-aware enough to make it's humor hit the mark as a joke game, not enough of a evil horde game to make attacking feel rewarding, and not enough of strategy game to keep the overworld invasions fun means that the final result is kinda mediocre. if you like starcraft but find it too complex you'll like this but it's not going to be anyone's mustplay. really needed more attention to letting the monsters do silly things and less to a competitive angle i doubt anyone buys this for.

A simple and straightforward puzzle game, based largely around the nostalga of managing the inventory in the RE games. Nothing too hard or too complicated, but good fun for a couple buck. Now if i could only figure out where my grenade launcher is.....

Even if your friends decide they don't want to play with you after all, it's still pretty fun!
