Early Access Review
One of the best multiplayer experiences I've found. The class interaction is complex and satisfying, the world and missions provide for lots of interesting questing, exploration, and combat, and allows crews to move fluidly from aggressive combat to stealth to diplomacy, both in space. The game has the charm, originality, and quirkiness of a small development team, and fortunately the updates, both mechanical and content, have been fairly steady. Gameplay includes ship-to-ship combat, enemy ship boarding, planet/station-side away missions, and many large stations / bases to discover.

Get the game, act out all your favorite SciFi tropes. No loot boxes, no tedious grind to have a playable character / ship. Highly recommended.

What I learned from this game:
-The key to a successful relationship is buying nearly endless amounts of food for your wiafu-to-be.
-(As others have stated) Racist gifts are a sure way to a girl's heart.
-Some people actually wait till the evening/night to drink?

What to expect from this game:
-Good voice acting and narration that actually had me laughing at times.
-A challenging but enjoyable CandyCrush-esque game.
-Receiving this message from your friends/colleagues on Steam, "DUDE . . . WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU PLAYING?"
-Trying in vain to convince said friends that you are playing this game for the puzzles.
-Trying in vain to conince yoruself that you are playing this game for the puzzles . . . perv.
-Googling "HuniePop Steam Patch" . . . because you probably will eventually.

8/10 Would feed fruit to Waifu again.

Ok, I promise I will write a better review of this game sometime, but let me say this: Get this game. Play it. It's so much fun. I have hundreds of games in my library, but this one I started playing and it actually held my interest. I played it. I played it a lot. Beat it. Collected every-damn-hidden-100%-world-scraped-clean item.
I will shamefully admit that, even though I was born in '86, and have been a long-time gamer, this is the first Tomb Raider game I have *really* played. I can't speak to die-hard fans of the series (who, from what I've read, also liked the game) but for me, given as this is kind of a "genesis story" for Lara, it's aperfect into to the franchise and the world.
The graphics are great. Without going full-perv, the model for Lara looks good and really moves well. Pay close attention to how it changes as you progress through the game.
Controls: I've also played Tomb Raider: Underworld. Compared to that game, this game handles much more like a tactical shooter. You can put shots where you want them, and combat is a great mix of shooting, melee, and interacting with the environment. I am a sucker for slow-motion killcams, and this game certainly delivers.
Seriously, get this game. If you smart, well-designed puzzles, exciting combat, and an interesting but easily-digestible storyline, get it. Plus it's *soooo cheap* you have to buy it. I got on a slight sale but for this price you're crazy not to get it.
Ok enough of my "short review." I would put this among the best games in my library, and I'll certainly be following any new Tomb Raider titles from Square/Crystal. Get it. Now. Or hell, put it on your wishlist and I'll get it for you as long as you play it.

Man this game is a crack-up. The writing and character interplay is really good, and seldom repetitive. Especially CL4P-TP - he says some pretty funny stuff. Also, you get to enjoy GLaDOS being mean to you again.
