Great game

Game is decent at best, a lot of bugs and glitches... and I mean A LOT. Honestly this list is so small compared to its actual problems i had to stop and just type this statement in. The game is super beautiful and the sounds are amazing, and that is quite literally it when it comes what is good so far about the game.

- Some PvE content is literally un-killable (bugged out), mobs spawn way to fast, plenty of bugs here for PvE.. too many to list
- PvP is so unbalanced its not even worth flagging up 99% of the time because it takes out the fun aspect and skill involved. (Wars, and outpost rush later)
- Dungeons are locked behind keys which you cant trade, you cant even trade the crafting material for them
- Light armor does not give bonus damage like its supposed to, zero reason to wear light armor
- Armor in general is bugged, you can wear low GS (200) armor and sometimes still have the same mitigation OR BETTER as 600 GS (supposedly the best) armor. (tested and proven with multiple youtube videos)
- Resilience perk is broke, supposed to block 4.5% of CRIT damage.. instead blocks ALL damage
- Onyx gem is broke, supposed to block 2.5% PHYSICAL damage.. instead blocks ALL damage
- 3 confirmed invulnerability bugs ( files are client side as EASY to hack/mess with ) yes.. you read that right.. in a PvP focused game there are 3 different ways to never die....
- The flagship content of this game (Wars and Outpost rush) is so laggy and bug infiltrated its a dice roll of whos winning the engagement or if your abilities even go off.. literally zero skill or thought involved.
- In war Ice Pylon counts as a player on the point therefore for the duration of that ability it is contesting point.. use your imagination here as to how that can be abused.
- Outpost rush is so bugged a lot of the time your UI doesnt even load in, even if you leave the mode, you have to restart your game to get it to work again.
- Economy is so astronomically screwed i dont have enough patience to type out everything.
- Servers are so split on population they are going to be forced to merge, which is going to cause another vast majority of population leaving once peoples territories get stripped from them.
- The 3 factions is NOT working as intended and most servers are split in something of 5-3-1 ration.
- Zero reason to join a losing faction, none.... the cons outweigh ANY positives that anyone wants to bring up. Speaking strategically and logical... not "Oh but i prefer the lore of this one" which is a valid reason, but again.. the cons outweigh it so heavily even people are joining the ones they dislike because of this.
- Because of the unbalanced ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and all of the bugs very few people when put in the grand scheme of things actually flag up for PvP.. you run into a few every now and again.. but remember this game is supposed to be PvP focused.. and im sorry, but the only benefit for flagging is 10% bonus EXP? Why would i flag at 60 then?
- To date... after 3 patches ( not including alphas an betas) every single bug "fix" introduces 2 new bugs, some are worse than the fixes that happened in the patch.
- Invasions can be abused HEAVILY by the leading company. For instance youre only supposed to be able to pick 10 people and 40 people are random... companies will literally kick 40 people until all of their own people are in the invasion.

Game is doing amazing things, this game will rise in popularity if they stay on this track. Loving every minute of it... all over again.

Really well balanced, good registry, fun PvE elements to go along side PvP. Beautiful graphics and world.

Game is actually mad fun, 100% recommend. Movement is a tad bit too slow, but everything else is GLORIOUS.

This game is asbolutley amazing. Its a straight up shooter! Imagine COD4 promod or CS mixed with a BR and you have IoN. I would highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a BR game to play. Its quick and deadly, no 30 min games.. max ive played so far with all my wins is 12 minutes and 13 seconds.

TL;DR - Super fun game with amazing potential that offers a huge variety of creation content and mods.

Do you like modding games? Do you like building AMAZING creations AND the ability to do it in space? Then this game is for you. I highly recommend this game for the price point to anyone looking for some survival yet challenging fun! Empyrion has a HUGE base support for mods and building/ships that you can mine the resources and plop a sick ship or building anywhere! If you don't want use someone else design than you have almost unlimited potential to build, just check out some of the download-able buildings/ships the community has to offer. Different planets offer amazing views that drastically change. I will say the AI seems to be the same and doesn't really increase in difficulty late game, im sure more and more events and challenges will be created eventually do the dev teams efforts.

Please keep in mind this game is Early Access and you will encounter bugs, however you can open the dev console and fix most of the bugs yourself!

TL;DR - Good short (can be quite long depending on your level of wanting to discover things) game worth the money because of frequently added content and changes to various things.

Only 1~2 hours in multi-player in infancy stages, this review is strictly single player.

I will not go into exp systems or anything of that nature as its constantly changing! (for the better)

So at first I would have said this game was not worth the money as I played it in its infancy stages. With that being said there was a lot of fun to be had. I played about 18hrs back then doing everything over and over and finding new ways and new places to discover. I had a great deal of fun fending off the mutated freaks that come and attack you at night which were quite buggy so you could shoot them through walls sometimes (WIN!). You couldn't really build much, a few buildings and only one vehicle. Overall it was a fun game but not worth the price point back then, read further for today's view.

After playing the updated version and seeing how much the devs have really poured A LOT of effort into this game I would 100% say this game is worth the money on the pure fact that it is going to evolve even further into an amazing game because of their effort. They have added much more depth and things are a little more difficult. The EXP system that has to with building is quite weird but once you figure it out its fairly straight forward. Your base has the ability to look more complex and appealing to the eye. The scenery is beautiful, but can become boring if you only stay in one spot.

The game still has some bugs here and there and is clunky on certain objects through out the world, but overall its a pretty solid survival game for the price. I bought it a while ago, and I would buy it today!

If you do buy the game, beware of using your weapons without the means to build more ammo!!

Overall: 7/10 for the $$$
