Path of Exile 2 started as a masterpiece—undeniably the most compelling RPG I have ever played, easily surpassing any version of Diablo. It was the shining example of a game that, like a prodigious child, grew beyond its predecessors to carve its own legendary status.

I dedicated countless hours to refining my character, perfecting my build, and acquiring top-tier gear, bringing my setup as close to ideal as possible. The strategic depth and freedom to create unique builds made every moment feel rewarding. However, the latest update has completely overturned that experience. The drastic changes to the Standard League have rendered my once-powerful build obsolete, effectively forcing me to start from scratch.

This kind of sweeping alteration feels unfair to dedicated players who have invested time, effort, and passion into their builds. A game should evolve, yes, but it should also honor the time and dedication of its long-term players. The World of Warcraft model could serve as an excellent example—where new mechanics integrate with existing progress instead of erasing it altogether.

Please reconsider this approach. Respect the commitment of your player base and allow for continuity instead of complete resets.
