This is game honestly best captures the random stuff you can do in D&D. From Mat Mercer stacking boxes and using a teleportation arrow, to the other shenanigans I an other have done. Basically this offers the best sandbox to try stuff out I have seen in a long time.

This also means you resolve areas in very different ways, like convincing goblins you are on their side or stealth picking them off one a time. Also you really have freedom to play an evil character or a good one, and your choices matter.

The game also looks greats, runs great, an sounds great. And it is worth playing with others or solo playing with the pregened party members. Also it is well worth playing through different times and romancing different party members. Also the dialog options vary greatly from class to class.

The main problems I have with the game is how little time you spend in Baldur's gate and how little of the city you see. Just compared to games like Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous the total area of the game feels small, and there is less to do. Also this game lacks the epic 2 game + 2 DLC story of the previous games, and tells a good story in a much shorter game. I also wish you could "take 10" and skip rolling when you have a +7 to pick a DC10 lock. I just felt I failed more than I needed to on rolls, like passive perception.

So I guess I just wish there was more in this world, even if it was with a different party and hero.

I kickstarted this game hoping it would live up to Cyan's other games, and in short it does not.

The main stumbling point for me was how the story was presented, and how often I felt like there was no plot. There was huge info dump in the last part of the game, and not enough story beats for most of the game to connect to it. I honestly felt less connected to this than any Myst game I have played due to the lack of environmental story telling, books, and narration during most of the game.

Now the game is beautiful and is fun to play. I love the sound track, and the voice acting is good. Also some of the puzzles are just fun to work. But as others have said, this is very short game you can run through in one sitting. Also most of the puzzles were easy enough that I was able to figure them out without much thought.

This game is far better with friends who have played D&D. The references are there, the framing story rings true to some of the best and worst I have seen on table.

The story inside about the fatemaker has some interesting twists, but both taken together are just not as compelling a story as Borderlands 1 to 3. Basically this is feature length DLC aimed at roll playing nerds, of which I am one. I honestly give this a 7/10 and rank it above the Presequel but bellow Borderlands 2 & 3.

I played through all 3 games prior to the June 7th patch, including all DLC with an Infiltrator. Main issues were the fact ME2/3 face codes did not work with ME1 and the missing Spector Weapons. I also ran into the issue with not being able to hit max level on one play through for both ME1 and ME2, but each time I got full resources when I imported to the next game.

I cannot stress how much better Mass Effect 1 looked and played in this version, and should be enough to get this pack alone. I agree that the Mako improvements were a mixed bag, but you can turn them all off and run with the classic Mako vs. one that has a boost. The game played great on my laptop, specs below, and I am really loving the enhancements so far. Eden Prime looks like a paradise, and not a bombed out world. The new HUD is working a heck of lot better than the old one. And the improved textures and models look great. I have had no glitches at all, and the frame rate has been a steady 60 FPS for me.

ME2 looked better, but the best part was all the bugs that go fixed. The few times my squad members got on top of something like a tree, they did not get stuck and climbed right down. The enhanced graphics were not as noticeable as in 1, but were still nice. I did miss getting all my DLC gear and having to find and buy it was a bit of pain. This is because the limited funds in this game. The only thing I missed, and had to look up on the wiki, was the stats for the weapons. I wish that had been included in the equip UI so you can figure out what is the better weapon.

ME3 was like coming back to an old friend with a few fixed bugs. I still ran into the issue where you have to empty all clips before the Normandy shows up the first time, and with a leveled character that gave extra ammo it was a pain. Other than that, no issues with the missing multiplayer. I was able to get the galaxy redness up to over 8,000. Only thing I need to figure out is why I did not hit max paragon, and what choices I need to cut back on (like taking out El Nora).
I am running through Mass Effect Andromeda before doing another play through now than some of the bugs I ran into are fixed.

This game really feels like Mass Effect and Skyrim had a child. The expanded story is told through many small collectables that some are voice, some are vision, and some are just text. The main story and the side quests drive you forward like Skyrim, along with world that is fun to exist in as well. One of my issues is the lack of weapon types and you don't craft much other than ammo and pouches to hold said ammo.

The main story and side stories are good, but I wish you had a bit more pay off then who shows up to fight with you at the end fight. All in all my biggest issue is I have to way for the sequel while its a PS exclusive. I really want to spend more time in this universe and explore this world.

This is one of those RPGs that has real choices and a real case of the feels. I bought it on the strength of Cybermancer, and was not disappointed. This game is actually far better and makes you understand the evils of colonization. I love how the church really does think it is doing good, but how bad they really are. I also love the fact they let the Arabs be the scientists in this one and the whole mix of scientifically advanced, socially questionable. Basically when discoveries out pace your morals, what happens.

Game play was fun throughout, and the different classes add a nice replayablity. Also the fact there are branching endings adds to this. Also the bugs were minor, and it ran fine on an older laptop. Do yourself a favor and play this.

Buy this game.

I was really surprised how good this game was as a single player game. It feels a lot like the old Dungeon Siege games or Diablo with a killer story. The lore is amazing, and the game is well paced, and the story is not one I have played before. You can be melee, ranged, or magic, and then get to choose between 3 NPCs that cover the classes you did not pick. Skills are well balanced, and maps are varied and have enough going on.

I think my only problems with this game is you could not pick female or male, I wish the thieves guild was more developed, and there is not another game in the same universe.

First I want to say this game reminds me a log of Myst, and in many ways is better than that game. Like you have much greater freedom of movement and if you want to jump off that cliff or jump to that ledge you can. It also looks amazing in non-VR 4K and I have only run into one bug in world 3, and it was not a show stopping one. Now for the Pros vs. Cons:

The Cons:
  • There are bugs, as seen on the discussion for this game but I also see the developer responding there as well.
  • The game is short. There are only 4 worlds to visit, and even with the extra runes you have to collect there is limited replayability.
  • If you miss one of the runes, and need to go back for it you have to complete every puzzle in a world you have completed up to it. This often means you have to replay every puzzle, jump, and vista up to the rune you missed.
The Pros:
  • This game looks amazing and the environments are properly varied. You also get to cycle rain, snow, and if its night or day, and this makes every one of the landscapes really come alive. Also I find the architecture stunning, especially in the 4th desert world.
  • Freedom of movement and encouragement to explore. There are hidden runes and plenty to explore, and I really wanted to poke in every nook and cranny to just see how beautiful the game was. Also in most cases if you can see it, you can get to it in this game.
  • I have enjoyed the puzzles in this game and found them to be about the correct difficulty, as in I could solve them with some though and exploration and never got so stuck that I could not think about the puzzle and figure it out. I also like the various mechanics the puzzles use and find them varied enough they don't get repetitive.
  • The music works very well for this game, and while there is nothing to make me run out and buy the sound track I did not find at any point that I got tired of hearing the same track loop.
  • The poems that lay out each worlds story are fully voiced and really add to the game. The writing of them is superb, but I do have one gripe. That is the voice only plays the first time you pick up one of the verses.

Ok - I am going to come out and say it.....I like this more than Fallout 3. I totally admit the story does not work quite as well, but for the same reasons. The reasons is all the stuff you can and do end up doing this game while you disparately search for your lost family member.

This things will include, a good version of pimp my gun / armor / power armor / dogmeat. But enough of my random thoughts and here are why I like it:

Pros
- Great crafting personal gear, even though I do wish you had more pain jobs like you do for power armor
- Best companions so far in both story and usefulness
- Power armor feels special in this game, and not just like some other armor
- Legionary enemies and loot with special properties
-The factions all feel alive and make me want to respond to them, even if it is to kill them

Cons
- Trying to build a fence
- Trying to keep all those settlements happy

Wash
- Building settlements. This kind of works, but getting things to "snap" is a pain and you feel like you are missing the pieces you need to build something really cool
- Also the fact you can support anything with just one square down stairs.

I loved part 1 on my iPhone, and now I find both parts on Steam for under $10 USD. For those that have not played on iOS, the game really nailed the post-apocalyptic time travel adventure game, buy having you swap between 2 time periods. Also the story is the right level of confusing, and comes clean in the end. This almost feels like Portal the Adventure game.

Also the puzzles are right on, just like Portal and you can finish this in a few hours. I got through in just under 4, but I did remember the first half. I also like how some of the achievements are for wrong puzzle solutions. Well happy gaming, and hope you like this as much as I did.
