It's better than first game in pretty much every regard, didn't have any crashes or bugs, well optimized - not too many games like that these times. If You like space looter shooters with some puzzles (there is story and side missions too) it's a decent game to play. See You in space!

A very interesting adventure in the future. Not too many point and click games come out today and this one is pretty decent. A bit short, a bit too expensive and various endings are hard to get but otherwise i certainly don't regret buying it. Remember to check the free Prologue first and see for Yourself! Thank You for reading and have fun playing!

Well, it's not Alan Wake (though there is a dlc with him fortunately) but i had no problems with the story or gameplay. Optimization is pretty good (runs well on my old PC), lots of side quests, very unique approach to "possessed" items and lots of collectibles. Game is pretty long too! I bought it on a minor sale but it is worth the full price in my opinion. Thank You for reading and enjoy the game!

So, the third chapter is here. It will probably be some time before the next game in the series is made, so this one have to be good, right? Well, let me elaborate on this a bit. I must admit i had a lot of fun with this chapter, though for some reason i preferred the previous games. It has a bigger story but not that much better. The gameplay is similar to the previous games with some additions. There is a lot of collectibles if You like that sort of time filler, more than before. There are also many side missions and tombs - unfortunately they added - or removed and then added - around 6 hours of side missions and tombs to the season pass - you do miss a sizeable amount of content without it. Let me point out both the negatives and positives:

THE GOOD

- The story is longer and pretty well made;
- A good amount of side missions;
- Lots of collectibles (and i mean a lot);
- Lots of skills to choose;
- Many weapons and outfits;
- Jungle feels really alive;
- Graphics look good;
- Wasn't bored playing till the end;
- Many plot twists;
- Attention to detail;
- More exploration and less combat (which feels right somehow in a Tomb Raider game);
- Well positioned checkpoints if you die so not much backtracking.

THE NOT SO GOOD

- Somehow i liked the previous games stories better;
- Not too well optimized - ok in the jungle, but expect choppy performance in areas with lots of people;
- Many skills have to do with combat - not that much of it in the game;
- Many weapons differ in looks but are similar in stats - especially bows;
- Many outfits differ in looks but some give identical bonuses;
- Many areas require a lot of climbing and jumping - sometimes you need to time it right or you die and the camera position doesn't always help;
- Game sometimes takes a bit to load - especially areas with lots of people;
- Around 6 hours of cut (or later added) content - better get the season pass too or miss out on a number of story missions and tombs which are pretty good (difficult though).

So, to sum up - i did enjoy the game but after the previous chapters i expected something extraordinary and got only an "ok" game. You will enjoy it if You liked the previous games but the price is high - wait for a 50% discount - i wouldn't pay more. And get the season pass - You will miss 7 tombs and missions - one even takes place after the main story (not nice developers, not nice). Enjoy the game and thank You for reading:)

I heard good things about this game so i decided to buy it during a sale. It is a walking simulator game with some activities and a pretty good story. It isn't long just about 3-4 hours if you like to get everywhere. It runs well, has very nice environment (forests and canyon mostly a river and a lake) the graphics are animated but well done. It also has achievements and trading cards (which i expect from every modern game). Like i said the story is decent with some twists and did not bore me or my friend with whom we played it. I would buy this game again with no regrets if i had to but i still think the base price is too high - 50% is more than fair. Still better check the gameplay on youyube or sth to know if it fits You just in case. Thanks for reading and have a good time:)

I got through this game twice now and waiting for the third part. It's quite similar to walking simulators only a bit more challenging since you can die. The graphics are good (i think it's the source engine from Half Life 2) story is a bit mysterious and long. You are an engineer who has to investigate the power problems in the city of Stalburg - soon you find out there's more to the story than just broken equipment...The game itself is well designed and a lot of patches came out so most if not all bugs are solved.

Positives:

- Graphics are a bit outdated but don't require a high end PC to run;

- There's a lot of hidden places to discover which enrich the story;

- Areas of the game are varied as well as some puzzles you have to solve to progress (easy to moderate in difficulty);

- The developers keep updating the game and a third chapter is on it's way (this year as far as i know);

- It has achievements and cards;

- You can save and quicksave manually - it also autosaves often so no 20 minute backtracking if you die.

Negatives:

- I bought the game on sale (sth around 8 Euro) - the game is good but not that good for 22,99eu - well maybe 12-13 at most;

- There is one puzzle where you have to steer an object and it's frustrating due to poor controls, maybe someone will add an autopilot option (Pretty Please?);

- It's a bit slow to start which may annoy some people but gets better with time;

- Some achievements are quite difficult to unlock and they supposedly influence the ending (they require either a quick hand or very good eye for detail);

- Sometimes movement is a bit, well...clumsy;

- Sometimes the patches take some time but they do fix stuff;

-You need power for flashlight and camera - you find batteries all over but the power runs out too quickly which requires some planning - which is good but may be annoying for some people especially during first walkthrough.

Summary

Despite some flaws it's a good and well designed game and i have no problem with playing it again especially when a friend drops by (four eyes better than two you know). The story is good and long (longer if you're the investigative type). Music is ok but i didn't buy the soundtrack (maybe on a sale). It's definitely one of the better walking (action) simulators out there - the engineer sections seem quite faithful to real life (though i'm not an engineer), there is a lot of nice nature areas as well as abandoned buildings to investigate. I definitely recommend this game but watch gameplay on the net just in case - you can refund games on steam now but the below two hours gameplay may not be enough since the start is a bit slow. Thank You for reading and hope you enjoy this game:)

SHORT UPDATE: The third chapter is pretty good too with some story twists and there are different endings with variations depending on your actions - there is also a story dlc coming even though the game is rather long (but not in a boring way). I have to say again it is not a game to miss unless you hate these kind of games of course!

This is the second installment in the "reboot" Tomb Raider series. I liked the first one so i purchased this one as well. I was not disappointed! This game has it all - a great story, open world, adventure and a heroine everyone would want to spend time with. Apart from some game magic such as endless stamina or healing from bullet wounds Lara Croft is one of the most realistic heroine characters out there. Combat is well designed, treasures to be found are not too difficult to find (no collectibles are missable!). The only disadvantages i can think of is that the game could be longer, it is a bit too demanding and needs a decent PC and the Season Pass is too expensive for what it provides. Otherwise it is one of the greatest games i have ever played in my life and i hope another chapter is coming!

Not the best in the series (not that it actually IS in the series), plot much worse than previous games, demanding engine and no undead! However, the stealing abilities are well designed, very difficult sneaking in many situations - demands quick thinking, some good missions (the psychiatric hospital for instance). Even as a fan of the series I was disappointed - but overall game is fun and not boring even after long sessions. Still, I recommend to wait for a sale.
