A few months ago, I played it. I owed it a review, but I couldn’t find the right words to express such a masterpiece by Unknown Worlds.

Subnautica is a survival game that stands out for its excellent development and atmosphere. From the moment you dive into its vast alien ocean, you are enveloped in a world full of mystery and wonder. The exploration of the sea in Subnautica is not just a goal but a unique experience that leads you to discover diverse biomes and fascinating creatures. Each dive is filled with uncertainty and awe, accompanied by musical environments of despair and anguish, as you face not only the dangers and secrets hidden in the depths but also struggle with the thalassophobia that we may suffer from.

The development of Subnautica is impressive, making it a very complete survival game in its genre. The game mechanics are intuitive and well-designed, allowing you to build and upgrade vehicles, tools, and underwater bases. Each biome is meticulously detailed, offering a variety of environments ranging from colorful reefs to dark and dangerous abysses.

The marine species you encounter are both beautiful and terrifying, and interacting with them adds an additional layer of depth to the gaming experience. The story unfolds organically as you explore, discovering fragments of information and clues that lead you to unravel the planet’s secrets.

A masterpiece by the Killmonday Games team, this decision making game got me from the first moment I saw it and I didn't hesitate to buy it.

It has a good story/narrative, sad, lonely and bizarre in some aspects which makes it different from many similar games, it has a beautiful art that makes you feel nice, excellent scripts and character performance, the voice of Natalia Martinsson as Misfortune and Henrik Norman as Mr. Voice make you feel like you are inside the game.

I would definitely want a Misfortune 2, I want to try Fran Bow and if I like it you will see me again in your reviews.
