By far the best RPG I've ever played. It's like binge watching your favourite series, the story is amazing, so many cleverly placed twists, yet no "subverting expectations" for the sake of it, and incredibly touching in parts.
Actor performances are amazing, both in quality and placement in the game.
I wish I could play this for the first time for a couple more times, sharing it with friends.
This is legitimately the first "AAA" title I've played that made me feel like big budget productions can bring something to the table that Indie just can't.

This game has a great pool of vehicles, realistic damage models and a very low barrier of entry due to arcadey controls. Unfortunately, these positive aspects have for years been the carrot held in front of player's faces, and a system of purposeful frustration, artificial resource scarcity and insane grinds to higher-tier vehicles have been the stick. While these attributes are not unheard of in terms of free-to-play games, the game-economic situation has recently reached a new low. Not only is the game designed to be frustrating so players spend real money to speed up the grind, it is now also impossible to play without spending real money to increase reward modifiers.
This game is designed to suck you in and then frustrate you until you pay.

Corporal greed is attempting to drive this game to a level at which it is literally unplayable if you don't pay significant amounts of money.
The original review written here was negative. As Gaijin has promised to step back from some changes driving towards the "status of unplayability", I have edited it to a recommendation. We'll see when I have to edit it again.

One of the best couch games I've played. Fast paced, ridiculous, funny. Quak on your vicitims.

In my mind, this is one of the best Battlefields there has been so far.

- Interesting maps, that can be played well and channel infantry and vehicles alike onto objectives in a reasonable matter
- Best destruction out of all Battlefield games
- Beautiful visuals
- Best sound we have ever experienced in BF, just so authentic
- Balanced vehicles (even though BF3 was a little neater when it came to vehicles)
- Absolutely amazing, grim, authentic setting; none of that "everyone looks like a polished spec ops" BS of BF4 and just amazing design choices

I love this game to pieces. I wish it'd get some more reasonable controls (for helo + strafing while in sprint for infantry) and updated graphics. It would be a blockbuster game.
