A classic, one of the best casual and best tower defence games ever made.

An excellent turn based tactical squad game with plenty to explore, unlock, and upgrade. Also an interesting delve into the 40k lore around Necrons and the Adeptus Mechanicus.

Definitely recommended if either of those appeal to you.

Initially addictive, but it gets samey and grindy real quick. I ended up skipping more than half the fights (cease fire and retreat) on the final derelict just to race to the end.

Not bad if you have a little time to kill, but you'd be better off with Darkest Dungeon, which wins out for depth and theme.

Maybe, maybe, the first time they've actually improved on Armageddon.
If you're a fan of any worms game pick this one up, even if it doesn't beat the aforementioned classic in your eyes, you'll still have an enjoyable campaign and a few new weapons and gimmicks to try.

Looks and sounds the way it did in my memories! That is, far better than the reality, but perfectly in keeping with the style of the original release.
Has every mission, and between the official (optional) updates and additional mods solves many little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that the games have due to their age.

Hope Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 get the same treatment.

One of the better turn based strategy games I've played. Partly due to the theme and the depth of customisation, and potential changes - good and bad - your gang members can go through. Also helped by the Warhammer setting. The level of complexity, and unforgiving 'ironman mode' set up do make the initial bar for entry quite high, but after playing around and reading a couple of short forum threads I got the hang of the basics.

The artistry in the graphics, sounds, and of course music, give this game an atmosphere that elevates beyond the other survival and crafting games I've played.

At times both very relaxing, and nerve rackingly tense, and great at both.

Whilst it does risk ending up in 'spooky walking simulator' territory, there is a strong enough plot and just enough game play to make this well worth your time.

Best RPG of the last decade

Feels like running at a wall the first few times you play it. Then all of a sudden it clicks, and you delve into one of the near limitless possibilities in one of the most rewarding tactical/puzzle games out there.
