One of the first DX10 games and a lightyears better port than Monster Hunter: World.

  • 21:9 aspect ratio support before 21:9 monitors even existed.
  • Mouse feels like a mouse instead of an analog stick.
  • Runs at a super high framerate even on lower end hardware.
  • Doesn't actually look much worse than MH:W despite being 11 years older.
  • All the graphical options actually work.
  • All keys can be rebound instead of only some.
  • Takes 5 seconds to get to the main menu instead of 1 minute.
  • Levels load in half a second. Seriously.
  • Has better fur graphics than MH:W.
  • Giant monsters are 20x the size of those in MH:W and actually feel scary.

The list goes on!

Note: This is a semi-mocking review about the current CAPCOM.

This is one of the early MT Framework games (if not the first), the same engine Monster Hunter: World runs on. MT Framework games consistently got worse on the PC platform seemingly every release. MH:W is one of the worst ports of this generation, as if the developers didn't even use a PC to develop the game.

MTFramework has revisions like any other engine, but most importantly Capcom's division of people attached to each game changes and so do the quality of the games.

Your points are baseless cause the teams on both games were different regardless of the company title. Sure it's a better game but your review is not a review it's just trash.

It's sad because it's true.
