Still a bad game

It's a very fun game, and the Battlefield game to play in 2021. Due to it having custom player made servers still, hackers are not as much of a problem in this game compared to Battlefield 1 and V. Official servers are plagued with hackers still, so if you want to play a match, make sure you join a popular custom server that has reporting/votekick features.

One of the best Battlefield games ever

This is the most legendary game of all time

It's a really underwhelming DLC, it basically adds nothing. Unless you really want to use Cataphract camels fo Parthia (which are cool), or the Sobek cultists/leapord warriors for Egypt (which really are not that good), then it's not really a worth it DLC. I got it just because I had some extra steam wallet funds, but really this DLC is useless. All of these units should have been in the base game.

Total War: Rome Remastered is awesome. This game, along with the original Rome and Medieval II, have some of the best features of any Total War title. The in depth population mechanic, building system, diplomacy, family tree, and more make the campaign very immersive and fun to spend time on. The battles are also pretty fun, as unit collisions are better than they are in any of the newer titles, so charges, especially from cavalry, are incredible to watch. Most of all, the amazing mod support allows you to have so many new experiences in this game, always keeping it fresh. The original Rome Total War is one of the best games of all time, and this Remaster definitely lives up to its grand expectations.

The company that made this game is pretty scummy, there are pay to win elements, the grind is unreasonable, many of the gameplay mechanics are really bad, etc.

It's a great Total War game, but it has its problems. Unforunately, even though it is much newer the original Rome Total War still does so many things better than Rome 2. Still, you will have fun with this game, and the plethora of mods will keep it interesting and re-playable literally forever.
