I'm not even done with my first age yet and I've already caught myself thinking "oh that's actually really cool/a great change" a few times. Excited to see what age transitions are like.

At this point in the community's life, mod updates are coming so fast that I have to update at least one mod every few hours. Ive downloaded 170 mods without ever touching the workshop or messing with mod configuration files. It is truly surreal to be playing a modern Arma title for once.

Not to say that the game is in any way complete, but i truly cannot wait for Arma 4

I really enjoy the V6 combat overhaul, it improves on the aspects of squad I really like. Even after just a few games in the new update, I was already noticing how much more interesting the combat had become.
Fights (roughly) doubled in length, which made every fight feel more engaging as a player. For example, In a situation where I was taken by surprise, in pre-ICO Squad I would have died immediately. In V6 Squad I was able to return inaccurate fire and suppress the enemy enough to escape, before bleeding to death as I bandaged lol. In any case, my point is that even though I still lost both engagements, the *way* I lost the ICO fight felt more satisfying.

If this game doesn't win GOTY, we know its rigged

Just how i remember it

This reminds me of back when i first picked up Halo Reach and had hours of fun playing BTB and custom forge modes with my siblings. So nice to see them return to form.
I have a few gripes with challenges and map stuff, but at the end of the day its still a beta and the issues are overshadowed by the fun ive been having

I loved the story and characters so much. I ended up going with the Panam ending and honestly I'm happy that i did. Obviously I hit a few bugs but it was nothing game breaking so i dont really care too much about it.

I was honestly really excited to check out the game when it went on sale a few weeks ago. I hopped in and was doing great up until I had to start flying.
For some reason the Roll is bound to A and D while the Yaw is bound to the mouse. I have never seen any other game had it set this way. This would not be a big issue if there was an option to rebind or switch them. But since its stuck like that, I really dont see myself ever playing this again just due to how hard it will be to rewire my brain to fly like that.
