Really happy for the EA Play Trial. If it wasnt for that i probably would have wasted money on this game. It is already dying in South Africa and for context battlefield 4 servers in SA are still full and have never been this bad. There is a lack of content and everything seems half baked. It really is a disappointment and has made me lose faith in this company completely.
The optimisation is poor and maybe next game they will lose the stupid specialists and try not make a lazy cash grab.

After a lot of fun coming from the first game i just cant see any benefit of this game. I bought it during the summer sale again after buying it on release and seeing it as a Unoptimized and unfinished mess. Thank goodness for refunds because after upgrading my PC extensively i thought this game may run well and get over 100 fps. Like hell. Apex legends, COD MW(even upscaling the resolution to 2560-1440), Warzone, NFS Heat and Battlefield 5 i am able to play on the highest settings possible and still get 120-160 fps with NFS being the lowest. This is a joke and really after seeing the history of this game it is clear to see it was killed by the DEVs on release.

Oh and its a dead game. It says 2500 people are playing but the servers are all co op with 10 people being the max. I thought maybe it will pick up in numbers in the evening and i was wrong. Still dead and uninteresting. Please dont waste your money or buy it and see for your self and prepare to refund the hell out of it.

Straight up GRID. Awesome right away. Very keen to keep playing and looks like a lot of fun so far. Really amazing visuals and gameplay is loads of fun. Still looking to see what difficulty is best and the AI aren't bad at all. Recommended specs aren't true, a 6600k and R9390 runs ultra no stress with +85 fps maybe if you at 1440p the nvidia 1080 will be needed. Love the way it looks only problem is the rewind. It was done to perfection in the first Grid game and never was that replicated. Hopefully the rewind system is redone to be like the first game. Sound of the engines is a little strange with almost the same engine tone ranging throughout the gears. But that's minor. Proper good old fun that i haven't really seen in years.

Other negatives that i can give will be that the selection of cars and tracks is really poor. There is no music and the layout of the career mode is super lazy. Some basic structure like in grid 1 kept me playing that game and this ones is really hindering it.

I feel like im sitting on the fence for a good or bad review and id like to say that its good so ill give it that but it is very close to being a negative one.

Well bloody done is all I can say. At first in the first 10 hours I was struggling and dying all the time despite having done all the side quests and locations possible to get as much XP as I can so that I would not fall behind. After dying a million times I realised that changing the skill tree helps a lot more than being a high level. The level gap closed right away and it’s been smooth sailing from here. It is the most enjoyable story game I’ve played in over 6 years. I really want to get to finish this amazing game and complete every little thing I can. It runs smoothly and looks beautiful. The size of the landscape and variety is mind blowing. The story is so enjoyable, it’s like watching a movie you never want to end. After assassin’s creed Origins, I didn’t think it could get better but here this game is making me even go back to that game just to make sure I’ve done everything I can. Really well done 10/10 quality as always.

I was really hoping for a game that would just feel like a more refined and fluid version of Dirt rally. Instead its a game that tries to look better with all of the lighting and grass but smashes the frame rate down to the point where it may as well look worse than dirt rally to get the same performance. The driving is good but the stages all seem to have these steep hills next to them and look too much like they are blending into the environment instead of being a road. I think in all the time they had there was more content to be had and the game needed to be optimised more. There are even videos showing downgrades between textures from the first and second yet the FPS is 60 or less on high. I think i would rather have liked to see all the dirt rally stages plus these new ones and all the cars that were a gen behind to return just so there is some variety in the cars. Its an alright game but unfortunately reminds me more of Dirt 4 than Dirt rally. And dirt 4 was absolutely disgusting.

This game is by far the best assassin’s creed game I’ve ever played. I never want it to end. It’s definitely the first one that I want to buy the dlc for and keep playing. It’s one of the if not the most beautiful game around, the game play is exceptional and I love this game. I have a AMD R9390 so because they didn’t optimise for AMD at all I only get around 40-60 fps. And that’s on any graphics setting so i just leave it on ultra. Still it runs smooth for the sub 60 fps and it is a must have for anyone who loves history and Massive open worlds. 10/10 And that including the poor optimisation so still the best game on sale todate.

I don’t know if it should get the thumbs up or down.
The game has many problems but lets pray they fix them soon.
I don’t know what the developers were doing but i think they thought their first game was a wild success. (It wasn’t)
The AI is incredibly stupid, they have no awareness and unfortunately all think together. The one AI will make a move and all the cars around it will react to it instantaneously except for the very start of the race though. All they do is pile up into each other.
Pros
-There are tons of tracks and lots of cars (i guess)
-The weather effects are rather challenging to deal with which is nice
-The game can look pretty(in the right conditions)
-The UI is much better than the first game.

Cons
-The AI are braindead
-Some tracks are utter trash. Silverstone classic layout. My god what, that track they made on old graphics engines and then had a kid go wild
-The cameras are disgusting, i would love to change the height of the camera and the fov on the chase cam makes the car look like its small moving at no speed till you come to a corner.
-Extremely poorly optimised. Assetto corsa looks better by a million miles and i get maybe double the FPS at 180.
-The cars that you do get lack something that makes you want to drive them. I mean look at Ferrari, there is 2-3 road cars. Mazda one car. Nissan 1 road car.

They need to make a lot of changes soon to save this game from itself.
5/10

This game is super impressive to say the least. It runs smoothly and has a higher FPS than 2016.
The classic cars are extremely fun and the sounds of the game just blow me away. I love this game.
There are small bugs in this game but nothing that changes gameplay. I just wish for a low setting on the Traction control. That would make this game perfection to me.
Best F1 game ive ever played. Thank you Codemasters.
