This is the first time I'm writing a review longer than 3 rows, but I feel like I have to.

184 hours.
That's how long it took me to complete this game on medium difficulty with all side quests and both dlc's. And it was worth it every single second.

Story 10/10

The story is just perfect. It has everything that you can expect: Action, fights, joy, laughter, sadness. There are some plot twists that you won't see coming.

Graphics 9/10

The graphics are beyond beautiful. You can't tell that Witcher 3 is already 7 years old and with the next gen update coming right ahead it'll look even more astonishing.

Game mechanics 9/10
For me as a controller gamer I had no problems with the game mechanics. I could easily control the player during chases, fight scenes etc. Just riding the horse and swimming underwater there where a few problems.

Skill tree 8/10

You can develop different types of skill for combat, alchemy and others things. I wish you could equip more of this skills simultaneously, but nearly nothing is unskillable.

Gwent 10/10

Many people don't like to play it, but I thought it was very fun to collect all the cards and create the ultimate deck to crush your enemies.

However, there are two things that I don't really like in this game:

The horse. It gets stuck in many small objects like fences and invisible walls (especially in beauclair).
Swimming. I've never played a game where I loved it to swim, and if you are on skellig and want a 100% run, you'll definitely gonna have some fun (not!). The worst part is the control underwater. Your pressing your stick to the left and Geralt goes often to the right. It's just annoying.

I'm really glad that I gave this game a third chance (started two times but lost interest in the first couple hours (I really don't know why..)), because it is by far the best game I've ever played. I can't wait to go for a second run to get all the achievements after the next gen update is released.

PS: I know this review isn't the best one, but I owed it to the game.
