I've already put over 1100 hours into this game over the years I've played it. Here's to many more :)

It had an absolutely rocky start, but this game has risen from the ashes to one of my faves of all time. I have enormous respect for the Hello Games team for never giving up when it seemed like everyone was against them.

Now, the game has most of the things they promised... and much much more. It was a great idea for a game from the beginning and it really just keeps on getting better.

I pre-ordered the game. I got it when it launched. It was rough... it was too grindy, and while exploration was interesting that was all there was. But now there's so, so much more than that. They've worked their asses off to get this game up to its full potential after Sony set an impossible launch date for such a small team to handle.

I love this game and I am totally not reviewing it to increase my maximum points for the steam summer sale no way

The game is well put together and there are a variety of paths and endings. Definitely a worthy followup to the original Headliner. Only wish that the story was longer...

I was really hyped over this game, but after playing it for a while, there were a few things that made it unplayable IN MY OPINION. The controls seem to be even more difficult to get used to, If you're coming from Civilization 5 like I did, it's a difficult transition to make.The new art style is good, but the UI is frustrating and in some ways, completely horrid. Also, in my opinion, Washington was a better leader for America than Roosevelt.

I would personally recommend picking up a copy of Civilization V Brave New World instead, unless you have really, really specific needs (like high-dpi).

Of course I spent so much time testing it (I got it as soon as it was released) that by the time I finished, I exceeded Steam's limits for automated refunds, and are denying me a refund for Civilization VI upon my request. If anyone has any insight or can refund this game, HMU.
