Solid title. Very reminiscent of Ratchet & Clank with a lil Jak & Daxter and vehicle combat thrown in. Fun title & a good game for the price IMO. The forced perspective in some of the vehicle sections was a turn off but other than that, solid.

Game is fun but is lacking a lot of things like functioning menus. I've played through two of the world now and while most of it was fun, being soft locked 2 times and having to redo entire levels sucked. Achievement tracking is busted on PC. You get completion for doing 1 thing in a chain. I have other complaints but they're piddly in comparison. 1 or 2 good patches should have this sorted out but I would wait for that and maybe a $40 pricetag instead of $50

There is a lot of potential here. I played this solo for about an hour and here are a few of the things that i found annoying. Sort this stuff out and this could be a 4-5 star game

-Controls can be slow/non responsive. Trying to interact with things in the world can be very difficult and often get you killed when you need to refill ammo but are surrounded. Example: Press E to refill ammo sometimes requires up to 10 key presses before the input it accepted.
-Guns need balancing. Some of them are crazy overpowered while most feel very underwhelming. The damage per bullet compared to mag size is not ideal. As the rounds progress, the enemies get tankier. Some enemies require two full mags to kill leaving you able to kill 2-3 more things before having to run back for more ammo.
-Huge difficulty spike around night 5.
Opening up doors to find better weapons usually just results in the above issues compounding due to the increase in enemy presence. More enemies+increasing health+same amount of ammo/damage=dead

I really like the concept of this game and with a little tuning it could be great. Keeping my eyes on it for sure.

Early Access Review
I understand that this game is early access, but it's honestly not even ready for that. Basic things like inventory management, hot bar/shortcuts for heals, etc simply do not exist. IMO, a game like this should launch with those things intact, regardless of early access or not. Not a great first experience at all. I would wait for these things to be added before bothering with it, personally.

Needs a few small patches to run on reliably on modern hardware. You can grab these from Nexus Mods for free and they're easy to install. Great game. Still as frustratingly hard as it was in 2001 but definitely worth a play through.

This game is not ready. All sorts of hitching and stuttering. Ran fine for a bit then went all to hell. It was an interesting concept and I'd like to play it when it's ready but it's just not right now. :(

I am on a Ryzen 9 5900x, 32GB RAM, RTX 4080 and the game was just all over the place. Even after trying to lock frames to 60 it ran WELL over 200fps. I tried to run it in DX11 and the game crashes before it gets to the title screen.

There is a lot of potential here but this isn't ready for consumption yet.

No option to change camera sensitivity
No option for mouse & keyboard.
Swimming is actually horrible.
Trying to climb a pole is like trying to get your congressman to fill that pothole on your street.
Enemy projectiles and parts are on a different frame rate than the rest of the game and it's.... weird.

There are other issues but these are the most glaring. A few good patches and this could be a great game but I wouldn't spend your money on it yet.

The story is really good. That is the only positive thing I can say about this game.

The controls are terrible. It's like the devs took what was good about Heavy Rain and said "No!"

If you're not a fan of QTE's in games,. this is not for you. If you are a fan this still may not be for you. Many of the QTE's pop up with no on screen prompt and a very small window to react which leads to, at least for me, about a 50% success rate as you find yourself guessing way more often that you should. Luckily, there isn't a lot of weight placed on the wrong choice being made as the game is pretty forgiving. It's just more annoying than anything. I found myself yelling "What do you want from me game??" way more than usual. Often, the game expects you to dodge something suddenly. During these times there are no on screen prompts to aid you in determining what direction to dodge. Common sense dictates that if something is coming at you from the left that you should dodge to the right, or any other direction that is not the left. Common sense looses in these situations as more times than not, the game for some reason expected you to dodge towards the giant item falling towards you. It's just weird.

In addition to the un-intuitive controls, the camera... oh boy. The camera. If you like looking in front of your character as you move around in games, this is not for you. If you're a fan of looking at your characters face while trying to see where you're going, you're going to love this. Combining actually terrible camera controls with the obnoxious always on letterbox is not a great combination. It's very constricting.

I can not emphasize enough that it was only the story that kept me playing until the end. Nothing else about this game is worth your time.

In my opinion, this game needed to be delayed at least another year. Cyberpunk ran better at launch on a 2080 with all visual settings & Ray Tracing/RTX cranked to max than Gotham Knights runs in Medium/High on a 3080 with Ray Tracing off. Now I know these are different games by different devs running on different engines... I am comparing the two because of the amount of neon lights, rain and puddles they have in common. Even on the lowest settings the game struggles to stay above 50 FPS in places.

Ryzen 9 5900x
32GB ddr4 3600
RTX 3080

***Update: I was able to tweak some things and get the game to run at 70-80fps most of the time. The game still dips below 50 when driving around though. It's running better though. It's playable but annoying in places.

***Second update. The game now crashes when I fast travel. C'mon devs I want to love this game but you're making it hard for me.

I've been playing since launch (PS4 at the time) We all know how that went but based on the 4.0 update, I would not recommend this game. So many bad decisions in this update. I've spent hours and hours and tons of nanites farming tech only for it to be screwed up. There are work arounds but there shouldn't have to be. Inventory just needed some tweaking not an entire rework.
