I've played through this game multiple times now and it is one of my absolute favourites. I'm a huge fan of the Alien movies, it's my favourite horror franchise. This game does a fantastic job of dropping you into the middle of the Alien universe. The atmosphere and design of the environments is fantastic. The xenomorph looks great and is terrifying to have hunting you.

Saying all that, the game is not perfect. There are some sections that are agonisingly slow to crawl through. Some spots felt especially hard to get through and caused a lot of frustration at first. I found these issues easy to forgive though as overall the game was very fun and the tension/stress felt nearly constant.

My favourite survival game by far. Also one of my favourite horror games, as I'm scared of deep/dark water and all of that. Many of those early nights spent standing on top of my pod, waiting for the sun to come up. The constant terror really just added that something extra to the game.

The environment and creatures are gorgeous. This games flavour of building and how the survival works are fun. I never found anything to be too tedious or annoying. If you like survival games or are a fan of underwater/deep sea stuff, you'll probably love this game too.

The emotional turmoil of this game can't be understated. I think a lot of people may not like where this game takes them, and I think that's fair. But if you want an incredible experience that forces you to face things you've probably not felt playing other games before, this is it.

Adding to that, visually this is probably the most beautiful game I've ever played and that alone makes it worth experiencing to me. The voice acting and characters are all amazing. Gameplay, combat all feel so smooth and enjoyable. I loved every minute of this game, even when I kinda hated what it was putting me through.
